All doctors work part time as a result there is no continuity of care. Doctors do not follow up even when they say they will call you. Unable to diagnose straightforward common health issues. Incorrect medication dosage supplied. Had to wait over 3 months to have an appointment with a specific doctor.

Dear Mr N Thank you for bringing these concerns to our attention. We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience and frustration you've experienced. Providing high-quality care and ensuring continuity are paramount to us, and it's disheartening to hear that we've fallen short of your expectations. We understand the importance of continuity of care and the need for timely follow-ups. All our doctors work full time hours and are dedicated to our patients and their care, however, these hours are often not the Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm hours patients expect. Regarding the issues with diagnosis and medication dosage, we take these matters very seriously. Our team is committed to ongoing education and training to enhance diagnostic accuracy and medication management and we would encourage you to contact us directly at the surgery regarding this. I've not seen a doctor for quite a while and had been wary of contacting the surgery given all the press coverage about the general difficulties of seeing a doctor. It got a little urgent, however, and the team at Caldbeck Surgery were amazing. I managed to see a doctor that day - who was great. The doctor referred me to hospital and I received an appointment for the next day. So all was sorted within 24 hours of calling the surgery. What a fantastic team! Thank you.
