    I have had the same experience as other people leaving reviews of extreme difficulty in getting an appointment. Because I am extremely deaf I have an additional difficulty. While I am waiting to get through there is deafening music, which leaves me stressed. Then the receptionists are curt. I explain to them that I am deaf, and that they need to speak clearly and slowly. So what they do is shout quickly. Recently I knew that I needed specific treatment from a specific doctor because I had had an x-ray. So I phoned up to ask about the x-ray and explained that I needed a specific appointment – this phone call wasn't at 8 in the morning – and was told that I had to get back to them at 8 in the morning. I wasn't trying to evade the dreadful 8 in the morning scramble, I was contacting the surgery because I had been asked to. I think this receptionist, who was ultimately really rude, was wasting a great deal of her time and mine being obstructive. The receptionists must surely deal with quite a lot of deaf people, and really need to learn to deal with their problems courteously, and by listening to what they actually say!

    Appointment issued the same day, scary health scare. Nurse Practitioner stated i needed to be put under 2 week rule as a precaution. Rebooked me in for a full set of tests with herself on the next working day etc... Within 6 days i had been seen at the hospital, and the Nurse Practitioner called to confirm all results. Thank you for listening and ensuring prompt adequate care and tests were done.

    My appointment today with theNurse Practitioner went very well . I got in on time and she was very caring and proficient . I would be more than happy to be referred to her for any follow on appointments . I came away feeling very positive .

    I found my assessment by the Dr to be very thorough and didn't feel rushed at all. I felt my concerns were listened to and everything was documented well as the receptionist was able to read the notes and as I was able to book for a telephone consultation follow up, instead of being ready to ring at 8am the next day. All in all a very positive experience.

    Was seen today by one of your colleagues who really showed me care and compassion . I left the surgery feeling that I was listened to and helped . Discussed the options for my treatment. Explained medication I would be prescribed, how to use it, the benefits and also the side effects I could have . I could not of asked for anyone to of been as helpful and understanding . I would just like to say Thank you xx

    I had a great appointment at 9:45 with the Nurse Practitioner. They really understood the issues of my psoriasis condition and offered some new treatment options. I felt listened to and found them really friendly and professional.

    Recently had an issue with a skin infection on my legs and was not able to see a doctor. I saw a nurse practitioner called Debra who was just as fantastic. She gave me the right medication I needed. The staff are only too happy to help and do a great job. Thanks for helping me with my itchy skin issue Debra.

    Have been extremely well looked after by doctor/nurses over the last nine months for a condition that was beginning to affect daily life. After many options being tried, condition is now being managed. Treated with kindness, respect and dignity and am very grateful for the patience shown over this very trying time!
