    I’ve had 3 very long waits for responses to repeat prescript In the past month, one off which was a 2 week wait for an inhaler. They seem to be ignoring prescriptions requests, don’t answer the phone, I think there might only be 1 GP in the place at any one time. It’s acting like a business in its dying weeks. Perhaps it’s gone back in to special measures, that would explain why its constantly closed for “staff training”

    Seen the nurse who is so knowledgable on menopause / hrt, came out feeling alot happier about what she said and is going to do for me

    Today I brought my son to see the nurse with suspected tonsillitis, from the moment we walked in she engaged with him, made him feel comfortable and asked him questions in a way that was age appropriate. He was really nervous and she completely made him feel at ease, as well explaining everything in detail to me. He’s left feeling so much more confident about doctors appointments. I also recently brought my daughter to see one of the doctors and I found it to be a completely different experience, he didn’t explain things in a way she could understand, didn’t speak to her as a child and was dismissive of some of her symptoms. It was not an experience that would warrant a complaint as the end result was fairly positive, I just wanted to highlight the brilliant work of the nurse practitioner

    The person who dealt with me today who I am unable to name sadly was friendly warm and reassuring, she gave me confidence in her treatment plan and was sympathetic to my concerns. No judgement at all. Which I wish I could say had been the same with everyone here but that hasn’t been my experience but this one has restored my faith in the practice. When I told my husband he also remembered her for how she was with him - proactive and professional. A real gem.

    This is the second time I have seen this Nurse Practitioner. Gout is a horrible condition, and she has always taken me seriously and kindly. The first time I saw her, she increased my medication as the initial dose was not really improving the condition. Today, she referred me for an x-ray at James Cook, to see if there are any underlying reason for my problem. Cannot fault her, last year, or this year. As welcome addition to any staff team. Please pass my feedback on. Jack Singh

    I have been to see the Nurse Practitioner on a couple of occasions to discuss my HRT requirements. Each time she has been kind, professional and knowledgeable. I feel very confident that she is fully trained to give advice regarding women's health, and know that if I have any concerns, she will always listen and try to provide an appropriate solution. She is an asset to the surgery.

    I was having to complete regular visits with this practice and was made to feel comfortable and feel as though the staff did not rush me. On one occasion i felt as though the staff went out of their way to support me and it did not go unrecognised. I was directed to the appropriate person and seen in a timely manner also. I would like to thank the staff for the level of care and compassion they showed. The staff who have dealt with me have all been so nice and approachable, thank you.

    I met with nurse practitioner in December And really felt she cared about my problems And was very helpful I felt comfortable with her Easy to talk to very professional And helped me with my health problems Moving forward An assett to Cambridge medical centre

    I feel I haven't seen a doctor for such a long time but have been supported by the medical team and support staff. A particular health problem was causing physical and mental fatigue, dh listened, advised, coordinated and resolved this issue. I am so grateful for all her support during this time. The staff I have visited over the many years have all been hard working and lovely, it's just a shame patients are frustrated at the booking system.

    I had an appointment today with a Nurse Practitioner. I was apprehensive as I wanted an appointment to see the GP. I should not have worried because the service I received was excellent. I was immediately put at ease while she did a thorough exploration of my son’s symptoms. I informed the Nurse about my son’s existing health conditions and was reassured she knew about the complications of his diagnosis and acted accordingly. She did a full investigation of his breathing, chest, ears, checked his throat etc and offered some good advice. She suggested a follow up appointment in case his condition deteriorated. This Nurse is wonderful and has a calming and pleasant personality. She is both professional and friendly and I felt listened to and heard. I was pleased she took the time to ask my son what he was experiencing but also gave me the opportunity to elaborate. I did not feel rushed and felt the Nurse Practitioner listened to my concerns and acted accordingly. I would be happy to see this particular Nurse Practitioner again in the future. She is an asset to the Practise and I hope she stays.
