  1. Review titled No Appointments

Rated 1 star out of 5

I received a text message to book an appointment to ensure I’m on the correct medication. Called and went into the call back system, 3 hours later received a call only to be told to call back in 2 weeks or use Dr iq to book an appointment in the future. What is going on with this practice? You can never get an appointment. If I didn’t work for a living I wouldn’t mind but I do.

  2. Review titled Excellent Face to Face Appointment with GP

Rated 3 stars out of 5

by David Woods - Posted on 04 October 2023

I had a face to face appointment with a GP. This surgery does not enable you to easily see the same doctor each time and this was the first time we had met. GP took the time to understand my previous history as a patient, was friendly, professional, and allowed me to share my concerns and dealt with my issues well, taking the time to explain treatment options, and despite my inability to book a double appointment for more than one issue, dealt with all of my concerns on the one visit. I went away reassured, confident in the doctor and fully understanding my treatment plan.

  3. Review titled Migraine

Rated 1 star out of 5

I contacted the surgery on Friday morning and asked for an appointment. I explained that I had been having migraines for the part five weeks, coursing severe dizziness, flashing in my eyes and nausea. Happening at least twice a week . There were causing me to miss work . I was told by the receptionist that they would put me on the triage list and would get a respond that day. At 12.00 a text came through with an appointment for the 6th December. I contacted the surgery again and the receptionist said the triage staff had considered my case as not urgent. I asked if there was a sooner appointment or if I could talk to a doctor but was told no. I completed a E consult form on the website at 12.35 but have still not had a reply. I have always struggled to get appointments at this surgery hence why I have waited five weeks to get one . I just hope there is nothing seriously wrong. As an appointment six weeks later is not acceptable for anyone.

  4. Review titled Blood Test Results

Rated 1 star out of 5

Blood Test done on Tuesday, Text from GP to book an appointment with GP to discuss blood test Wednesday. Not able to have a telephone appointment until 3 weeks later to discuss results, appalling. A 3-minute phone call is all it takes!
