At the end of June i was in some distressed pain..A doctor was able to see me within 3hrs! The doctor took my pain seriously and admitted me into hospital. After being discharged a week later i was able to speak and see doctors who took my concerns seriously and their empathy made me feel I wasn’t alone in dealing with my diagnosis and this allowed me to feel comfortable asking questions I needed answers to! With the destress that our NHS is in I feel very blessed to have a doctors surgery with receptionist that do what they can to make you feel heard and at ease! Long May it continue.

I had a telephone conversation with the Doctor this morning who dealt with my problem and arranged a prescription to be collected. All aspect of this visit were first classIt is most definitely the best GP practice I have been with. All staff should be commended.

I’ve had health issues for almost coming up to a year now. The Catherine House team have been extremely caring, professional and honest. From the receptionist trying their best to facilitate my appointment needs, the nurses taking my bloods in such a caring manner and my GP, Dr S, really listening and making me feel heard and supported. It really felt like Dr S has gone above and beyond, I couldn’t be more grateful for her and the rest of the team. Thank you for stopping me from feeling like I was being a burden.

Had a routine face to face appointment with a GP, really thorough consult, not rushed and left feeling listened to. Receptionist happy and polite, had a blood test arranged the same day. Nursing staff equally professional and polite. Overall a great experience.

Able to see a doctor the same day I called.Sorted out health problem efficiently and doctor was very effective.And reception staff are excellent.

Met with the usual lack of common courtesy when I called. Very rude receptionist who makes it seem like you’re inconveniencing her by making an appointment. Really regret choosing this surgery.

When calling the practice, you are still met with unhelpful and rude receptionists, not sure who they think they are, need customer service training

Phoned with hope to speak to a doctor, and was met with a rude receptionist, with no bedside manner. Wait still continues 2 days later for a call. Not sure what has happened as this was once a wonderful doctors surgery.

Thank you for your feedback, I am sorry that you did not receive a callback, there is normally a response to requests made between 8 and 10 a.m. on the same day, however this appears not to be the case, if you would like to contact me, the Practice Manager, I will investigate what happened in your case.

Called to follow up needing a repeat prescription, as just changed doctors. She told me she’s going to leave me now as she has hundreds of calls coming in. And to be told a third time to wait for a call. There’s nice ways to talk to people. Disappointed

Dear Anonymous. Thank you for your feed back. We do not normally accept prescription requests over the telephone, due the the possibility of errors. It is much safer to use the online systems, which go directly to the GP's, or we do accept emails, with name, dob, and names and doses of medication required. The GP's work through their daily lists trying to assess the most urgent cases and deal with those in the first instance. As we ask patients to request prescriptions 7 days prior to need, these are sometimes left to the next day - however if the matter is urgent please feel free to add this to your written request. I am sorry that you feel you were not spoken to nicely, and I will, of course, discuss this with the staff.

Pleasant clinicians. Front of house staff appear overstretched,with minimal time for patient contact.Their emails and text messages are unclear
