  1. Review titled Asian Reception

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Penpa Tsering - Posted on 01 August 2024

Doctor and other receptionist was good. I am not happy with Same girl of his behaviour with patient who came to have appointments on 22/72024 and 01/08/2024. She has no manner how to speak with elderly patient who has bit hearing problem. I personally translated to him.. today. I called to receiption regarding my urgent ultra sound for my swollen knee and I asked to another appointment if possible but she dropped telephone down and then I called again to her ( Asian girl) . Fortunately she picked up and I explained it was not good to dropped telephone down without knowing the situation. I am happy with other Doctors and receiptionist except her…. Thank you

  2. Review titled Prescription

Rated 2 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 27 June 2024

I was prescribed with Sertraline on the 18/6 for my OCD which I have been struggling with for over two years now and was told my prescription would be ready the next day. When I went to collect it wasn't so I rang the GP service on the 24/6 who said the prescription has to be approved by the GP doctor and that they hadn't even sent it yet to be approved. They said if there are any issues they will contact me by 12pm or it will be ready otherwise. Today is the 27/6 and I have rang again as it still wasn't ready at my local pharmacy only to be told the approval task has been delegated to another member of staff who hasn't approved it yet either. It has been almost two weeks and I still have not been able to receive one prescription that I am waiting for. I work for the NHS myself so I understand how difficult it can be at times and I don't directly blame any member of staff but at the same time I am struggling as it is and it doesn't help when no one can communicate what is happening and is unsure. Either way this experience has made me so cautious about the next time I need to visit my GP services.

  3. Review titled Terribly unorganised and uncaring practice

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Annie - Posted on 03 June 2024

Despite being on repeat prescriptions for a length of time, I constantly have issues with them not sending them to the pharmacy, even after requesting within good time! This means at least twice a month, I go without medications that I'm supposed to take every day, which has a significant impact on my sleep and mental health. It's also very stressful when I work full time and don't have time to be making numerous calls to them and the pharmacy trying to chase it up. I really don't understand why I email every time I need them (despite them being on repeat) and they can't simply be sent to the correct pharmacy as requested.

  4. Review titled Terrible practice

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 08 April 2024

Three times I have booked a telephone review with the GP. I work in a prison and have no access to my phone and therefore when I booked (which was painful enough) I specifically told the practice that I need a time to come out of work to answer the phone. Three times I have sat in my car for an hour waiting for the appointment which I was assured would be at the stated time due to the nature of my work. It is near impossible to have the discussion with the doctor which is impacting my health. Beyond frustrated.

  5. Review titled Bad practice.

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Ninete Tavares - Posted on 06 August 2024

I have not been well the last two weeks. I have had bad experience with the receptionist and I have even witnessed her being told of by nurses for not doing a great job. I had to repeat my self 4 times to her because she apparently could not understand, my sister then spoke to her my sister then had to repeat herself more then once, I had then called regarding my sick note on Friday I was told my appointment was booked for Tuesday 10:40am to then call and be told we don’t do appointments for that, I even called again Monday to get it sooner as I’ve missed a lot from work, I was told there’s no appointment for sick note today so you will need to wait for you appointment 10:40am. Then I call today the same lady answers acts like she can’t hear me again and tells me they don’t take appointment. I’m very disappointed with Cauldwell considering I’ve been with you guys since Victoria road and everything else changed. The communication in the team is poor. Receptionist are rude not sure if they’re getting a pay rise but they are rude. I was even told if I wanted to make a complaint I needed to come in but guess who found it online me. I then had an appointment and the DR in the urgent treatment room tried to charge me £70 for a sick note if I didn’t have a call today I would need to pay this is poor from your surgery.

  7. Review titled Wonderful GP practice

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 28 November 2023

Your Review: Sadly my mother died in September,I needed some urgent forms to be done, my mother was end of life at the time and I required some financial help after going to the surgery and being told it would take a month to complete the forms I was advised to speak to a young woman who deals with this work. I spoke to this lovely caring lady who listened to my issues and understood the urgency of the work. She spoke to me with care and compassion and completed the paperwork for me as soon as she was able to. This little thing helped me at an already distressing time and had I waited for the end of the month then I would not have been able to get any help. This surgery like many others have issues with appointments ect but all I have to say is some individuals in this practice are amazing. I am glad my mother got the care she required, credit to the staff and the doctors. thank you

  8. Review titled Very good experience

Rated 4 stars out of 5

by Roxana - Posted on 13 August 2023

Over the years, I can say that my experience with this practice was positive, I always had a quick response to my enquiries, they offered me an appointment when I needed and a plan or treatment in place. The receptionists are very kind and welcoming and we have to appreciate all their hard work specially in these conditions where the staff is short and isn’t easy for any of them and considering it’s also free of charge, we should be grateful! Thank you

  10. Review titled Wrong Clinical details

    by Warwick90 - Posted on 24 May 2023

I had a blood test in Cauldwell medical centre last April. The doctor was really nice and the rest of the staff. As I have checked my results in ICE I noticed the clinical details stated I was on antipsychotic monitoring. It took me by surprise as it's not correct. I left it for a bit, and then yesterday I rang the practice and enquired about an appointment and flagged up my concern regarding the wrong clinical details. I spoke to a member of staff who raised it with the GP on duty at that time. They both tried deleting the information but unfortunately couldn't. This will then be on my medical which is a false report. I'm just writing this as I wouldn't want this to happen again and hopefully the GP will sort this out for me.
