    Had a concern so did e consult this morning. Seen within 2 hours and mind put at rest. Doctor attentive and very helpful. Reception very helpful

    Prior to my appointment I received a message saying not to attend in person until told to, and since I was not told to attend in person I was expecting a call from the doctor. When I pointed out later on the day that I had not received a call, the receptionist told me I was supposed to attend in person. I was disappointed that no call was made to try and get hold of me. The appointment slot was still for me and my contact details up to date with the surgery. I do not abuse the NHS service and felt very let down by the staff. It just seems like no effort is made to help. ‘Ring tomorrow’ is just a shockingly bad practice. I’ve been a practice manager in the past and never left anyone feel so dejected like I’ve been made to feel.

We take all criticism seriously and apologise for the confusion caused by the new appointment reminder text messages. this now now been addressed and amended and is hopefully much clearer.     After waiting in a cue for 45mins this morning to try and get my daughter an emergency appointment. I get a call back from the doctor to come down at 3:30pm after waiting at the bus stop the bus arrives 20mins late I stand in the rain with my unwell child for 20 mins finally we get to the doctors 15mins later then the appointment time due to the bus being late my 3 year old daughter is wet and crying she’s not well after all I am then told by the rude receptionist she won’t be seen as we are over 10 minutes late I have a moan and ask can you speak with the doctor to see if the doctor will see her I’ve waited over half hour when had an appointment before so I no the doctors can run over ! to be told we aren’t allowed to ask ! The way they speak is disgusting to people and rude ! i now don’t want to return to that doctors and I’m looking for another 1. I understand it’s over populated and can be frustrating but I to have sat in the surgery and listened to all the gossiping behind the glass while the phones are continuously ringing!!! It’s disgusting what’s a real shame is the actual doctors are all helpful and nice shame can’t say the same for the reseptionist and now have to attend another surgery

    Amazing experience always. I have always had a very prompt response from the team. Never had to wait too long for an appointment or prescription. Hands down, I will definitely recommend using their services.

    The waiting time on the telephone to book an appointment can be quite long , which is just a fact of life. But when you get down to number one in the queue you do expect that you will be heard soon. Unfortunately on two recent occasions I have reached number one in the queue (today in took 11 minutes to get to that position) and then I hear the phone connect and I get cut off. Si i ended up having to drive to the surgery to make the appointment (which being with the diabetic nurse cannot be booked on-line)

    I am sorry to hear that you are disappointed with the service you have received and we take all criticism seriously. We do have problems with losing connections at times and this can sometimes be due to the telephone system now being cloud based. We are in the process of changing our telephone provider and hope that this will also improve connections. For your information, we also now have the ability to invite individuals to book review appointments directly using a text link. You can speak to the nurse about this at your next appointment, ready for your next review.     I don’t like leaving unpleasant reviews especially for the NHS! I don’t know what it is but the Admin staff who answer calls and talk to patient(s), they need a reality check. Being polite costs nothing and when someone is being respectful it should be reciprocated. I moved to the area and had a call with one of the staff members, this female started talking over me and wouldn’t let me speak. Once she had finished what she has to say she hung up on me. I haven’t bothered going back! My 24 year old reluctantly joined this year and tried to hand in her paperwork, waited in a long line. The female refused the paperwork because it was 1 minute past the due time. My kid has an eating disorder and has other mental health concerns, she needs help and for this staff member to speak in the manner she did is disgusting. Where is the concern for people that go there for help? She works full-time and is feeling overwhelmed and helpless. It’s about time someone was screening the Admin staff behaviour and rooting out individuals that cannot do their job properly, employ empathetic people instead. I wouldn’t recommend anyone go here for help.

    If I have to call my gp, I have to wait about an hour each time until someone is answering me . 2 days ago I called GP Abela & partners ( chafford hundred ) . I requested to be called back by a specific doctor and called after few hours a different doctor . I explained I feel more comfortable to discuss with the doctor I know already and said ok . After never called back the doctor I requested or receptionist…. Completely ignore !!! Like I don’t have what to do with my free time
