    I'm really sad to say that since I've been attending the practice for the past 4+ years it's really gone downhill. The doctors rush through any analysis, don't listen to the varying issues or seem to take care in identifying conditions before rushing you off, even when the practice is quiet and there's no one waiting to be attended to. Newer doctors are particularly dismissive, really denting my trust in the analysis, as I have been prescribed the wrong medicine in the past. I've spoken to other locals who have even changed practice to Moreton Hampstead (which I am also looking to do), due to the poor attentiveness of the doctors in Chagford, it truly is a shame and I feel like it should be addressed somehow.

    We are sorry to hear that you have had a negative experience at our practice and welcome all feedback positive and negative. We take all complaints seriously and so if you have concerns about the care you have received we would encourage you to submit a formal complaint via the practice manager so that we can address this problem appropriately. We unfortunately are unable to investigate this further as you have posted anonymously via an open forum with no details of your consultations and so I would encourage you to write or come into the surgery allowing us to respond directly. Please be aware that even though the waiting room may be empty at different times of the day the doctors still have phone calls, home visits, e-Consults, pathology filing, prescriptions, letters, emails and tasks to complete as well as seeing patients and so a quiet waiting room does not mean that we are not working hard doing our very best to keep up with ever increasing demand on our service.
