Review titled Poor communication
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Keith - Posted on 27 August 2024
Should have had a telephone appointment on 24th August at 1:00pm. Waited in but appointment didn't happen even though that I'd had a text the day before confirming the appointment. Visited the surgery today to be told that the appointment had been changed and they couldn't understand why I hadn't been told

tried over 30times to get into the queue to get an appointment just got told it was full. Shocking that the service is so poor and if your poorly in the afternoon you have no chance to be seen

Review titled Terrible Appointment System
Rated 2 stars out of 5
by Mrs Jackie Sanderson - Posted on 17 July 2023
Tried I get an appointment this morning waited nearly two hours on the phone then when I did get through I was told all appointments gone try again in the morning or go down to the surgery at 8am and queue to see if any then you only get a phone assesment to see if you need to physically have a face to face with a GP I have a history with Cancer so I know early detection is key to survival which last time saved my life I am concerned as I have a suspicious looking growth on my forehead so need it looking at told the receptionist but I got the same reply over and over again try again tomorrow so much for early detection I have been with this practice for over 50 yrs but it's not what it once was no wonder it's only got a 2 star rating on NHS website

Review titled Shocking
Rated 1 star out of 5

Waited on line for 45 mins to be told I could not book an appointment for an injection I have every three months. I am going away on the 14th May. I was told that no appointment was available. I was also told that I cannot book an appointment for two weeks in advance. I was then told to ring on Friday the 12th May to book an appointment for when I return of holiday. I told the receptionist I dont get back until 28th. My maths isnt great but that is 16days from the 12th plus days for an appointment. Seriously shocking service. Looks like they make rules up as they answer a call

Review titled Caring and considerate
Rated 4 stars out of 5
by Linda Coleman - Posted on 09 March 2023
Came to see Dr with concerns with stomach problems. I was concerned because of family history of stomach and bowel cancer. The Dr listened to all my concerns and gave me an examination. I was given a number of tests and even sent to have an endoscopy. My concerns were taken seriously and I feel much more happy. Thank you so much

Review titled Bad manners and bad timekeeping
Rated 1 star out of 5
by STEPHEN BRIGGS - Posted on 02 March 2023
I arrived 15 minutes early and still sat there 15 minutes after my appointment time .The health care assistant tried to take blood three times at three different locations on my hand and arm and gave up.I went to see the girl at the reception window to explain that I had to have my bloods done before my appointment at the hospital only for to say no to everything i asked ,did not try to help in anyway at all .Is there any wonder that people get frustrated. A genuine patient trying to get some genuine help . . Other nurses on the premises but receptionist would not let me wait for someone to retry to get my bloods taken.Had I have been 15 minutes late I would have been turned away. It was not a case of running late with patients, as she had only just arrived still wearing her coat and carrying coffee. No apology.
