Our sincere apologies Miss Fearn that our service was not what you expected on this occasion. We have been under tremendous pressure with our clinical staff and other being off with the viruses that are circulating at this current time, so much so that we are now asking patients who have any respiratory illness coming into surgery to wear a mask that we will provide. If you are ringing at 8am and are put in the queue then there is a ring back service you can use that holds your place in the queue and rings you back when you reach your turn. Our staff are trained to navigate you to other services should we not be able to accommodate your needs on the day. If other services were not offered then please contact me at the surgery and I will download your call and address this with our reception staff. Thank you for bringing this to my attention and again I am sorry to hear that you find our services not good on this occasion. Julie Coakley - Practice Manager

Review titled Excellent experience with GP Consultation
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Michael Burgin - Posted on 03 February 2024
I needed to speak with a doctor about some issues had been experiencing. The GP who phoned me back (I know I can't say the name on here but I hope this feedback gets to him/her) was very professional and very understanding of my issues. He/she had obviously read my previous medical history and was very much aware of issues with my medication etc. This lead to a outcome where I feel valued and understood as an individual and not just a NHS number/statistic. I feel that these days people are very quick to give negative feedback on bad experiences, but in my case I want to give some extremely positive feedback. I appreciate the stress and stain the NHS is under and GP resources being at the front line are stretched to the limit. Thanks again for understanding and helping me.

Dear patient. As a young carer you are entitled to be referred to the carers centre who will support you as well as the practice. If this has not happened then please contact our carer's champion Becky at the surgery who will do this for you. We have had a system in place for a couple of months now whereby if a patient rings and is placed in a queue then if you hold, the system will give you the option, to use ring back and the system will ring you back when you come to the front of the queue. This enables you to get on with your day and not hold on the phone. Please note if you withhold your number the system does not know who to ring back so ensure you follow the instructions and key your telephone number in. Our receptionist work hard to give patients the best service we can deliver. If you have any problems with the receptionists or any GP or staff member, or our systems then I am always happy to listen and help. Thank you for your feedback, we do listen and improve where we can - Julie Coakley - Practice Manager
