It has been extremely difficult to get an appointment. Despite calling promptly at 8 am, the reception is consistently busy, and the queue fills up within fraction of a seconds at 8 o’clock. On the rare occasion that I do get through, I am informed that no appointments are available. Obtaining my prescription has proven to be equally difficult. I am told that I will be informed once it is ready, but I often receive no response for extended periods

Dear Patient I am sorry you are having difficulties in accessing services at the surgery and are currently reviewing our appointment booking at the surgery and within the next couple of weeks hope to launch our new system to help beat the 8am rush. I have had 2 messages from chaucer surgery telling me to make an appointment so I can get results from tests I have had,but on both occasions it was impossible to get an appointment. I still don't know whether I need medication or any other treatment. So what am I supposed to do?

Dear Mrs Griffiths Thank you for your feedback, if you are asking for an on the day appointment then sometimes we may not be able to get you in, however for a results appointment we do have pre-bookable appointments available, I am sorry if you have not been offered one of these and will feed it back to the team. Needed a follow up call after a visit to A&E spent 1 week trying to get through to the surgery to get a call back from the Doctor. Still no resolution. Also explained months ago we required something on record from the surgery to assist with my partners PIP claim, first claim denied, we didn't have the proof, now we are currently fighting their decision. 8 days left to get proof for the mandatory reconsideration. Nothing from the surgery, requested this 28th March. Appalling surgery for service. Would not recommend.
