Review titled Terrible practice
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Dawn Arneil - Posted on 30 August 2024
I care for my mother who is registered at this practice. Over recent months she has become ever more poorly and I have had to engage over the phone, email and in person at reception. Call times are excessive, I often cannot understand who I speak to and can never get timely appointments. Reception has 3 windows, only 1 is ever staffed with often queues going out the door. My mother rarely sees her own GP and if she wants to see him the wait is often a month in advance. Its just a generally depressing place and my mother no longer wants to go the surgery as she finds it too frustrating

Review titled Terrible attitude for the blood test nurse
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Jason - Posted on 19 June 2024
I booked the blood test on 7:40am on 19th June 2024, we did the check in at the entrance. I admitted I may be late for a few minutes. Then the reception asked us to wait at the area for the blood test. However, I had been waited for half hour. When we asked about when we can do the test, the nurse with terrible attitude and say you are late and kept on asking us to go back to the reception. At that time, there is no patient waiting. Her attitude is unprofessional and rude. When I go back to the reception, I was told me that the nurse unable to do the blood test for me as I am late. If there is such rule late for a few minutes, the blood test not being handle, the GP should specific so we no need to wait for half hour and found out. It is ridiculous and the nurse attitude is unacceptable rude and unprofessional to the patient. I told the receptionist at the centre that I want to complain her attitude. I was being told that I will get a call from that nurse. Anyway, it is the worst experience that I had with this GP as we have been with it for 20 years.

Telephoned for an appointment on both Thursday and A Friday ! No appointments ,so managed to get an appointment for the following Tuesday ! so I requsted to see the Nurse, regarding women’s matters.i turned up for my appointment and waited over an hour to be seen,I then realised that i was seeing the doctor!!! I Explain to the doctor my concerns ,expecting the doctor to examine me or ask me to do a urine sample,No! Nothing? ! I asked the doctor why I wasn’t being examined and the reply was ,I’m not sure, regarding your concern!!!! Really ! You’re a doctor!!! As I was leaving I spoke to another member of staff,I explained to this member of staff my concerns, that member of staff shook her head in disbelief? So let’s get an another appointment, after waiting in there for nearly 2 hours,I’m then told we don’t have any appointments for another 5 days !!! Absolutely shocking service!

Review titled Not so good
Rated 3 stars out of 5

Both my warfarin nurses are brilliant. However they all keep leaving! Another last month. It would appear that the management haven't got a clue what they are doing. I have been making regular visits for 6 years and it has declined during this time. Judging by the reviews, it can only point to bad & incompetent management.
