I am extremely disappointed with the service and appointment system at this gp surgery. Booking an appointment is nearly impossible. I have spent hours on the phone trying to get through—today alone, I was on hold from 8am until 10 am, stuck as caller number 1 for 30 minutes, yet no one answered. This is not a one-off issue; I have tried booking appointments multiple times before, and 9 times out of 10, there are no available slots. The staff simply tell you to call back at 8am the next day, but when you do, the phone either rings out or you’re left waiting indefinitely. As a frontline healthcare professional, I am struggling to access care myself—I can’t even begin to imagine how difficult it must be for the general public. The reception staff are rude and unhelpful, showing no empathy for patients who are struggling to access basic healthcare. The entire system needs urgent improvement, as this level of service is unacceptable.
