    Calling in morning to book an appointment is next to impossible. They have no appointments available. Even after calling 111 booked an slot from 10-12 and visiting surgery multiple times for ecg and chest pain appointment, then also I wasn’t seen through. No call back by doctor, receptionist not helpful.

    I called this morning to book 2 appointments, one for me and one for my daughter. I was given 1 appointment and told that we would both be seen at the same time, when on arrival i explained this to the doctor and she quite rudely refused to even see me. I got rather upset which she had no compassion for me and said she was way too busy. I've never had a problem here so i find this quite upsetting and in so much anger.

    Dear Patient, We are extremely sorry to hear about your experience. During the busy period of winter, where general practices are already struggling to cope, it becomes difficult for us to to squeeze in extra patients in between clinics. I have spoken to my patient advising team and unfortunately you misunderstood what our staff member was trying to convey, they did not promise you will be seen, they said you can ask the clinician if they can fit you in. I would like to sincerely apologies to you if you felt the clinician was not compassionate, but it was not their intention. We always endeavour to provide a professional service.     I called this morning for appointment, call was answered immediately and receptionist was excellent. Booked appointment and text me appointment details immediately. Reception staff I have found to be polite helpful and caring . Great practice

    The actual doctor who I usually see is fantastic. However that is as far as it goes. Prescriptions take over a week to fill, when it states on posters within the surgery: 72 hours and this includes a prescription for a child’s ear infection. Reception staff are rude and argumentative and give advice which goes against what the GP has said. I have complained in writing and verbally to the practice manager, but haven’t received a response to either - and it’s been almost five months! Call backs are promised but don’t happen. I am beyond frustrated with Chelsfield Surgery.

    telephoned and waited first time half an hour. I telephoned again call lasted one hour and 15th in the queue. waited one hour and got through but reception did not answer. When I visited the surgery to tell them they told me they did not have enough staff and that patients who visited the surgery were priority. why didn't they tell us this when they answered instead of telling us they are busy with calls and we should hang on. I asked reception for strong painkillers she told me she would ask the doctor my physio has told me I have to ask the doctor. This has been done but there has been no reply from a doctor I am desperate as I have been suffering for 3 years. I did receive one pack about a year ago but it wasn't put on the repeat prescription list. Surely this is no help to patients. i have been with this surgery for 40 years. Im 70 now
