As someone who has always dreaded and put off my cervical smear appointments, I have to say thank you to the nurse (who this NHS site does not allow me to name!) who carried out my last one in December. A process that is normally quite painful was over in seconds due to her experience and caring way of carrying out the procedure. It's not something anyone ever enjoys having to have done, but this time around it was 10x better than previously so I thank her for that.

I had the pleasure to be seen by a lovely doctor regarding my menopausal issues I was experiencing recently. The doctor was exceptionally professional, knowledgeable and kind. She was the very much listening doctor and she was the one understanding my situation. I felt that the doctor was really helping me, by giving advises and a prescription. Dr was arranging a follow up of the consultation to make sure I was doing OK. I greatly appreciate the doctor's time and the help I received in Chineham Medical Practice. Thanks a lot.

Having attended my first experience of flu clinic here today, I must say it was run impeccably. So many people to be seen and it was the busiest I have ever seen a surgery, but the clinic still felt calm. I was seen exactly on time at 9:56 and all the staff were incredibly friendly. Thank you everyone for your continued hard work!

My father 93 years old had an appointment today, went to surgery on time for appointment, waited more than 1:20 minutes No body came to inform us of delay and apologies, doctors need to be aware that patients and their family have other things to do, other than waiting for doctor all day. This service need to change and monitoring measures to be in place.

I've only been registered with the practice for a short while and I have had chronic pain for many years which had left me unable to sleep properly for at least 3 of those years. I submitted an e-consult one morning asking for help and received a text message less than an hour later from a GP acknowledging my query with a suggestion and subsequent prescription. I even received a text and hours later from the pharmacy informing me the medicine was ready. Even the text was compassionate and after many years of nothing from my previous practice made me feel at once valued. I've since been sleeping and I feel like a different person. Can't thank you all enough, right down to the triage team who fielded my initial request. Amazing!

Visiting family in Basing from NZ and caught a bug on the plane. Called in the morning. Phone consultation at 8.15. Seeing the Amazing nurse practioner at 12.Drugs ready to pick up 10 mins later. Amazing.Thankyou. What an excellent service.

I submitted an online consultation at 11:20am, telephone call from a wonderful GP at 3:50pm and I collected a prescription at 4:30pm. It doesn't get much better than that!

My husband visited the practice to try to resolve matters regarding his lack of diabetic medication. He'd been prescribed alternative medication due to lack of supply. Unfortunately the pharmacist said he couldn't have it without a prior consultation. He contacted the surgery, they re-prescribed meds for him only for the pharmacist to yet again state he couldn't have this medication without a prior consultation. This same practice had already his recently blood sample. Unsure what to do next, he visited the surgery and explained the situation to reception requesting to urgently see a GP. The office staff were unhelpful and told him to book an appointment via a link. The earliest appointment he could get was Sept after a review he already has booked. My husband wrote a complaint to the practice manager when he got home, requesting an urgent call back on Monday. To date no response and he remains without his meds! It's clear this surgery has an inherent lack of duty of care for patients. Imagine if somebody elderly had to go through this process.

Recently my partner had some problems with his health the response and speed the surgery dealt with this was beyond expectation. Also not forgetting the way all the recepsionest help us with the problems we experience once getting to basingstoke hospital. NHS is struggling at present but thankyou chineham practice for your patience and support.

Spoke to a guy regarding some cream for my wife after spending 3.5 months in hospital he wasn’t interested once again a waste of time. This surgery needs a full revamp of receptionists. Totally disgusted
