Had tests between Nov and Feb. Everyone I came into contact with was friendly, professional and efficient. Special mention for the doctor who was really professional, informative and supportive. A great team. Thank you.

My appointment was actually at Wellesley Road practice. My appointment was at 11.20 a.m and I was actually seen at 11.a.m.I was greeted by a very friendly bubby nurse who immediately put me at ease. The nurse was very informative and explained everything to me,I did not feel rushed at all and all my questions were answered. The nurse is a credit to the surgery.

Unable to email or telephone the surgery, just going round in circles on websites not helpful. Will have to visit surgery if I can get time off? Just simple prescription request!

I requested a reference letter from my insurance provider to be filled in by the GP and this was sent promptly and filled in. So overall a good experience in this regard.

Was told to urgently get a blood test, filled out form to request appointment specifically for a blood test, had to arrange a ride and take time off work, only to be told when I arrived that blood samples had already been delivered to the lab that day so I couldn't get a blood test and that I should come back tomorrow.

  7. Review titled Poor service since the merger

Rated 2 stars out of 5

I have been a patient at Grove Park for 27 years and up until the Practice merged I had been very pleased with the service. I have not been able to get an appointment at this Practice since the merger and have had to go to the Wellesley Road Practice. The doctors I have seen have been pleasant but there is even less continuity than before. I tried to cancel an appointment the GP had made, in case I needed a follow up, but I could not do this on the website. I went to the surgery and stood in a queue for about 10 minutes until I gave up and went outside, and unusually, managed to get through by phone to cancel. Apart from the above exception I have not managed to get through on the phone; for example I called at 11.30am today, on a Wednesday morning, and was 13th in the queue. This is not unusual it is the norm. I miss the service I once had.

  8. Review titled Terrible idea to centralise

Rated 2 stars out of 5

I’ve been with Grove Park Surgery practice for years and it has been an amazing experience until recently. It all changed after they’ve decided to bring a few practices together. My appointment which I waited for for three weeks was last minute moved to a different clinic and instead of 15 minutes commute to see doctors that I know and trust, it would be More than an hour with unknown staff. I was in a telephone queue with more than 30 people before me trying to cancel as I don’t want to have a no show. I didn’t succeed as it’s impossible to get through and you can’t change or cancel online. another example is vaccination. After waiting for 20 mins with a very anxious child, I learnt that the vaccine hasn’t arrived the day before, and no one bothered to give me a call, so I wasted a couple of hours for nothing. Terrible.

Just moved this practice and in the first day asked for the entire medical history for my son and myself. 3rd days after and some forms filled in I have received the medical reports which I very much needed. Impressed and thank you very much.

It is easier to get an appointment with the vet for my dog then to get an appointment with this GP to manage my own health. Need to take time off work to drop off consultant letters; then waiting to hear from them about precriptions changes and test results without success; then waiting to speak to a receptionist for an appointment; still having to fill out obscure online forms; then wait for a call back to make an appointment.

Dear Patient Im sorry you have had a bad experience of our practice. All consultant letters from NHS hospitals are set directly to us and there is no need to be brought in. If your letter is from a private consultant and you are requiring a private prescription to be transferred to an NHS prescription, the process is detailed here https://www.chiswickmedicalpractice.co.uk/medications-prescriptions/private-prescriptions/ Any test requests from consultants should be actioned by the consultant and only tests requested by one of our GPs are actioned in the practice. If you require your treatment to be conducted on the NHS, then please contact us via Klinik as with all new health problems or health problems that have got worse and your case with be reviewed by a GP and you will be contacted on the day for a review or to book an appointment. If you have already completed a Klinik form someone will be in touch. I hope this has answered your query however if you need any further help please get in touch with the practice Kind regards Amanda Meehan Business Manager
