very poor service. never answer phone, never call back, and do nto listen to patients questions. visiting doctor twice with chest infection and did not bother with examination!

I had an appointment regarding an ongoing issue and was booked in with a third different GP. I have no complaints whatsoever regarding the previous two GP's or the helpful, friendly receptionists and lovely nurses. However, the GP that I saw today couldn't have been any more uninterested in my issue. Thankfully it's nothing too serious. I have every sympathy for NHS staff, it's a very tough job. But it's no surprise that some people don't want to visit their GP if they feel that they don't care about the patients.

I can assure you that we do care and that we take all matters seriously and review our standards. We have developed a digital system whereby you can submit a request online or via our Reception team and your matter will be clinically reviewed, this means, you will be seen by the most appropriate clinician. Wouldn't recommend at all avoid at all cost. Ignore you symptoms, rude, uncaring, unprofessional, management are the same, appointment process is ridiculous, long wait to get through on phone to get an appointment then be told no appointments or emergency appointments is a week later. Prescription process is a joke, they can't cater for people with long term health conditions nor care. Some GPS are absolutely awful rude, unprofessional and uncaring! Only nurses are fantastic at the surgery that's all rest is by far below standards from care to actually getting any help or appointments. Complaints well they always try and say they are not in the wrong! This is by far the worst surgery causes more destress then it's worth, receptionist unqualified and rude. How this surgery can remain open I don't know! Should be closed down fully!

I would like to thank the receptionist who I spoke with today (15/11/22). Unfortunately I didn’t get her name but she couldn’t have been more helpful and pleasant. I had lost my WiFi over the weekend and couldn’t order my meds, she came to the rescue! Regards and thanks again.

Church Lane has unfortunately acquired a bad rep' over the last few years, especially with regard to getting appointments. Agreed it is not always easy and can be very frustrating when we cant get the help we want by way of an appointment. I do believe and have found for myself personally and my daughter that the staff do all they can to try and help and accommodate under difficult and trying circumstances. They do have a lot of patients to deal with and Braintree is an ever growing area. I have only ever found the Staff, Nurses and Doctors to be pleasant and helpful, even when it's not what I want to hear. We have to speak as we find, but there should be a balance and I don't find the surgery and staff all bad.
