Review titled Poor service
Rated 2 stars out of 5
by Roger Bettles - Posted on 20 March 2023
I filled in a 5dy report on my high blood pressure, I took it to the surgery on the 6th March, I have not had a rely as 20th March, I had a blood test on the 17th March, I asked the nurse about the results of my blood pressure who said it had not been processed and she said she would send a e-mail to the relevant people which she did. I phoned the surgery today and was told I could have a blood pressure test this morning when I got there the nurse recognised me , she went to the reception to chase my results up and then told me that somebody would phone today it is now 6.50 pm and nobody has been in touch with me, I have been a patient 37 +yrs. I would appreciate a follow up call as matter of urgency. Regards Roger Bettles

Review titled Impossible to get an appointment!!
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 07 February 2023
For the last 2 days my 86 year old father has been trying to get an appointment at this surgery. He has been told to ring at 8am every morning but by the time he gets through all appointments have gone. He is in pain and has even gone personally to the surgery to try and get an appointment. Everyone says there is nothing they can do and he needs to keep trying. After receiving a phone call from the reception team, who I have every sympathy for, they suggest members of the family call at 8am as well to give him a better chance...... Perhaps more appointments might help and a bit more understanding for someone who is elderly. Unfortunately this shocking state of affairs is not limited to this surgery alone, and they wonder why more people are calling ambulances and turning up at A&E

Review titled Permission to contact surgery on someone’s behalf
Rated 3 stars out of 5
by Sue Lawrence - Posted on 26 February 2024
I have permissions on record to contact the surgery on my daughter’s behalf, it is then presumed when contact is made I am phoning for a ‘infant/young child’! I am asked the age of the ‘child’ and receive the comment ‘oh I thought you were phoning for a child’! My ‘child’ is an adult with autism who on occasions requires support - requiring support is not and should not be assumed as ‘age limited’. This has occurred several times on contact with the surgery on my daughter’s behalf - very disappointing.
