Review titled Awful practice. The worst GP I have ever experienced
Rated 1 star out of 5

I've had several bad experiences. On one occasion I submitted an e-consult and was then asked to submit some pictures, which I did, but never heard back. On another occasion my depression returned so I requested a prescription. Because I was due a review I had to wait 2 weeks for a phone appointment. Absolutely disgraceful! A few days after my appointment (prescription approved) I went to the chemist to collect and it wasn't ready. Went back a few days later again, still not there. The chemist asked me who my GP was and said they have had others at the same surgery have issues with prescriptions not being sent through to them. I appreciate many GP's are under a lot of strain but this one is just not fit for purpose.

Cannot believe the audacity and ignorance of the so-called Gp I just had the 'pleasure' of seeing. As it is I don't go to the Gp over any little thing and this has put me off completely. First she pronounces my name wrong and when I correct her she takes offence! I'm pretty certain her name has been mispronounced before and I'm sure she corrects people too! The unprofessionalism, rudeness and sheer ignorance of this particular GP is astonishing and she shouldn't be seeing patients - She was extremely inappropriate telling me how she's not here for the money but for patients!!! Who says that? That's why I waited for 55 mins after my appointment time? Because she cares so much for her patients/?! Avoid At All Cost This surgery has so gone downhill that they'll literally hire any doctor to cover!

Review titled Don't bother if you want to talk to someone!
Rated 2 stars out of 5

Trying to book an appointment to see a GP and recieved nothing but seemingly demeaning phrases and attempts to be pushed away and not bother contacting for help. Tried to fill in a form for an e-consult, only to be told my message would not be passed on to my GP and I would not be receiving any help as they did not have the 'ability' to assess my symptoms online, despite this being the entire point of the e-consult. All options to book an appointment are basically telling you to get help yourself and not bother, asking if you've tried 'self help' and asking if you 'actually' need to see a GP. This is completely unprofessional and demeaning, and is frankly disgusting to see a practice that is supposed to be nothing but helpful and caring to their parents be so negligent and resistant to help. Serious changes need to be made.

This Practice was brilliant before it joined The Maritime Trust. Trying to see a Dr at your own surgery is just hard work, they’ll offer you everywhere but the surgery you’re actually registered with. Ringing the helpline just results in you being on hold for long lengths of time, or you wait ages for a call back. Quite often the call centre staff are rude and abrupt. All the waiting around is not good when you are sick, or have a sick child. When you actually get into to the surgery, the Receptionist & Drs are great. The Maritime Trust just doesn’t work in the patients favour. They’ll tell you it’s good because you get a choice of surgeries, but they won’t tell you there is rarely any appointments at alternative surgeries.
