This is not a complaint, I just wanted to share my recent experience with Churchdown surgery. The surgery’s online eConsult opening between 4pm and 8pm on Monday to Friday, I’ve been tried to submit a request via online eConsult over the past 4days, sadly the service was not available every time when I try to use it, it stated on the practice website “you can try again tomorrow”. The same message appears again when I try on next day (the time I tried was between 16:05 and 16:10 over the last 4days). After a 30 minutes waiting on a phone call today after 4pm,finally I got a chance to speak to one of their staffs, I mentioned the issue of their online eConsult service, they said the service should be available (clearly not over the past 4 days), they then no interested to hear any more from me about the online service issue. That’s the reason I’m writing in here. I understand the practice is busy every day, that’s why I tried to use their online service instead of phone them. It would help if they could maintain the quality of their online service. Kind regards

I have been trying to get an appointment for 18 months and I have not been able to get through to make an appointment. I also am unable to access the e consult site.

I had pain in my breast and had fever, I've been seen by a doctor in a same day, after full examination I've been given antibiotics and clear advice and guidance what will happen next. The doctor called me a few days later to see how I am and if its getting better. Really nice to see a gp who cares for their patients.

I’ve been having difficulty with my repeat prescriptions .After one phone call the extremely helpful receptionist sorted it all out for me, and now life is going to be so much easier . Thank you so much. She even phoned me this morning to put my mind at rest .

Not been registered with the surgery long but always had great experiences! Contacted them about a couple of issues and managed to speak to a doctor and receive a prescription same day. I’ve always felt listened to and communication between appointments and investigations has been brilliant. The availability of e-consult is also great and means I don’t have to wait in queues to call reception. I was recently away from home and needed an urgent prescription. I completed the e-consult online and the doctor arranged my prescription and sent it to a pharmacy near where I was visiting. Excellent service every time and would highly recommend.

Prior to my telephone appointment with the GP, a receptionist called me to confirm the date. The receptionist called late afternoon, early evening and was polite and friendly. The GP called on the date specified and early in the morning so I wasn't waiting for the call long. She was really helpful and gave clear and professional advice. Despite the NHS strikes going on currently, Churchdown Surgery continues to deliver an excellent service. I am not someone who needs the doctor often at all but my experience when I have has always been great. Thank you.

I honestly find this practice so wonderful and helpful. Each time I call I anticipate a long queue but I am always pleasantly surprised when the call is answered much sooner (my past two calls were answered within a minute) although I appreciate early morning they are probably drowning in calls. The receptionists are always helpful and kind and I have never felt so grateful to live in a village with such a nice GP practice. The practice is clean and modern and all GPs/nurses I have encountered have been friendly and efficient in their work. The online consultation works very well and means face to face appointments can be given to those who truly need it. Thank you for all your hard work.
