I recently had an operation and needed a sick note as the points of incision hurt every time I exert myself. So I called the surgery to request a sick note so I could rest a bit more to heal internally. The clinic was super quick and got a sick note arranged immediately.

Recently visited the practice. The new upgrade to the practice is very welcoming and looks great. The doctor listened to my concerns and always try to help. Very caring and understanding individuals, good at their job. Much appreciated. Always greeted with a smile by the doctors. Again very welcoming and makes you feel less anxious.

Although I waited about 10 minutes the Dr was friendly and apologised for the delay. He set me at ease and was approachable, patient and I felt helped and heard.

I called yesterday and was on hold for over 20 minutes before getting an answer, the receptionist was not helpful. They promised to send me additional information immediately via text but never sent it, and abruptly hung up on me. I rang back later in the day, 30 minutes before close time (seemed reasonable) and was told I am second in the queue, after 35 minutes of being on hold listening to the migraine inducing hold music I gave up. I am writing this review while on hold, currently at 30 minutes, for the whole time the automated voice has said I am number 1 in the queue - I am astonished at how long it takes to get a phone call answerered by my local GP - never mind getting an appointment which after over 1h.30 on the phone I still haven't managed to do.

Dr listen my problem calmly.over all Great experience. Didn’t wait for even second. As I did my self check in and went upstairs my make appeared on TV screen. Have toilet facility in GP.

Claremont Clinic is excellent - the new building is clean and modern and reception staff were smiling and friendly, although a bit slow and did not notice the queue being quite long. The phones are always too busy but it is good if you go in person or if you book online. The lift is quite bad in the building - it is slow and does not tell you what floor you are on and seems to always be breaking down and causing reception problems. Our whole family have been seen by the team here over the years and there are some excellent doctors here - special mentions to Dr kj, Dr sa, Dr c, Dr b and Dr cl. They have always been happy to help and take their time with all ofus. Their suggestions and prescriptions have almost always been spot on and when they are not sure, they have referred us. Dr c has done some surgeries on my brother and myself in the past for lumps that we had and he did an excellent job. Nurse A has been excellent in caring for our family, taking the time to do our injections and check up on my mums diabetes. Thank you to you all for looking after us. The reason we have not given five stars are because of the reception and lift issues and also there is one of the newer doctors who we feel we need to highlight, Dr ra - she was quite rude in separate appointments with my mum, my nephew and my sister over the past year. She was rolling her eyes and muttering under her breath and at times she seemed bored. Her suggestions felt like she was not addressing their problems but sending them off in the hope that someone else would deal with their issues - which they did in the end as we saw other doctors here who were much better. We will avoid seeing her in the future and don't recommend anyone to book. If these issues are dealt with we would give the clinic five or more stars as it is a really good GP for the area.

Getting an appointment here, let alone getting through on the phone line is a joke. I called and was 9th in the queue, exactly one hour after I call and was still waiting- “transfer failed”. Called back and was then 12th in the queue after waiting an hour!! Whenever I visit in person there seems to be no more than one person answering phone calls, and only one person serving the queue of people inside the clinic. This is an accessibility issue that affects all patients. It’s an absolute joke. They need more staff available at the desk as you’re wasting everyone’s time.

claremont clinic is the most professionally managed GP clinic after attending a and e at newham hospital I was advised to take appointment with gp i went to clinic at 8 am and the surgery opened in time I wanted urgent appointment and I was offered 9.40 am and doctor attended me in most professional way understood my visits to a & e and diagnosed and assured speedy recovery the new look of surgery is very patient friendly i wish all the success to surgery

This consultation was relaxed and useful. The doctor created a welcoming atmosphere and was happy to explore the history and particulars of the condition I was presenting with in a pleasant way, explaining clearly what it might be, the reasoning for this and the best action to take. I felt confidence in the GP’s judgements and proposed investigations. Really very impressive how quickly the refurbishment of the Clinic has been completed providing more consultation rooms which will hopefully the Clinic to keep up with demand. My only disappointment was being seen 40 minutes after the appointment time.

In my opinion, it's the best gp practice in the area. The admin staff and clinicians are all very efficient. The Dr I saw today was very efficient and on point.
