my elderly mom needed an appointment. i went into surgery very early in the morning. i was told my mom needed to use new accurix system. i explained my mom couldn't use computers. They suggested a carer could do it, she could go to the library and they would help or ask a neighbour or go and sit in a and e . m mom is 84, partially sighted, not mobile and uses a wheelchair and is not independent outside of the home. I would normally do it for her however the system seemed to be down or had reached capacity, very, very reluctantly they put a request on system and 8 hours later my mom is still awaiting a call back.

Since the new system online I have been able to ask questions ,that are responded back very quickly. I needed an appointment with a doctor ,gave my symptoms and I was given times and days within 24 hours . I have also ordered my repeat prescription and was at the chemist next day , Very happy patient,well done clement road surgery

Said one of the receptionists when I queried where a prescription was. for an elderly, housebound family member. "Everything has to be done via the app". I did not know this as this is not my Doctor's practice thankfully. My request via the app for a telephone appointment for the same family member had not. been responded to despite it having been made a week ago. It had been "pushed back" as it was regarded as not urgent, having raised the matter today it was being "pushed forward". I really do not have words...

They respond to me within the same day, updated me on the process journey and how fari am getting. When i needed medical attention they have escalated it quickly. Asked me to compmete online question then Doctors wanted to see me and booking through the link was so easy. Saves me waiting on the line ir coming down. Once i was seen i was cared for fully and all their staff are friendly. If it is an admin issue/letters I was also responded to within the same day and recieved it between quickly. I like that I was updated all the way through by text.

I was on hold for 2 hours, I was number 3, still didn’t get through as I got disconnected, a few months back I was on hold and walked into the surgery, nobody was answering the phone they were having a conversation between themselves, terrible.

I have tried to call for an appointment to be waiting over 1 hr starting at position number 9. Called to other number to ve asked for a pin which i dont have. Website is also not working.

The queuing system surely doesn't work. I waited 2 hours 10 mins today to get through to reception. I'm worn out from just waiting. I was number 1 in the queue for the last 45 minutes! Surely the queueing system isn't working.

I was very impressed with the receptionist and doctors yesterday. 1) I was the only one in the waiting room when an irate man came in and started yelling, shouting, swearing, pacing up and down, stamping his feet, waving around a piece of paper and generally complaining very loudly. It was very threatening behaviour. The poor receptionist, who was on her own, remained very calm whilst trying to calm the man down. But even with all this going on, her first thought was to ask me if I was okay. How professional. I was okay but how lovely that she checked. 2) The student doctor together with a locum doctor were very thorough throughout my consultation and I came away feeling positive. Thank you.

I've spent an hour this morning trying to get an appointment only to find an automated system that is demands I set up an account and pass number. Getting hold of an actual human being is almost impossible. I then went on line only to find a series of dead end and a need to sign up to Patient Services and assign my GP surgery to it. I need a Dr's registration letter to do. Snag is I can't get hold of a human being to ask for one. I've now got to turn up in person this afternoon to see if I can get an appointment.

Sent for blood tests at Rowley Hospital. When I arrived I was told Clement Road had not sent a blood test request form ( As they told me they had ) So the visit was a waste of time and money ( £14 in Taxis ) Tried to phone them but after 3 hours waiting I gave up. This surgery is a complete joke and needs to be put in special measures asap.
