Review titled Nurse Appointment
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Rhona - Posted on 10 May 2024
I arrived in time for my booked appointment with the Nurse. I was welcomed by a friendly & helpful reception team. My appointment was great. The Nurse asked questions about my ongoing term condition & listened to my answers & advised me about my on going treatment. I then had a cervical smear. The Nurse put me at ease & helped me relax. The experience was pain free. The Nurse explained how & when I would receive my results. I needed to speak to the ladies at reception again after my appointment. They both listened to my request & advised me of the next steps. Over all a fantastic experience. The Nurse is a valuable addition to the surgery. Well done to you all.

The nurse was very easy to talk to and explained everything very well. She helped me understand the treatment plan and made a follow up appointment with me whilst I was there

I had a text message asking me to book a telephone appointment to discuss the results of my Diabetic blood test. I aced the surgery to do just that but I was told I should it be calling on the phone to do so but stead I should use the electronic e-consult booking service. However the receptionist told me she would book the appointment for me. I was told to expect a call on Thursday. That did not happen. I did not get a call either today, Friday. You now have the cheek to thank me for using the e-consult service which I didn’t and further more ask me how I found my experience with you. It would be prudent if you o find out if you had held up your end of the bargain don’t you think before. As patients all we ask is that you give us the service we require to manage our health issues. We do NOT need to be asked to use IT to make contact. C’mon, you as a surgery used to be better than that.

My GP made sure I was familiar with my treatment plan, had time to talk and made sure I felt contacting them should issues arise.
