Received booked telephone review of bloods taken 29th December 23, requested by myself to determine if continued B12 injections were necessary. On reading the results posted on my NHS site, I was horrified and concerned to see all bar one said "Abnormal"!! A very confusing and complicated way to try and interpret them myself, so requested via the surgery, a telephone review. This went a head and a very helpful Practise nurse, explained what they meant, resulting in a new script for Statins as Collestral was high,first time I had been tested for this!! She could NOT give me any B12 information though!

My recent appointment was for an steroid injection in both knees because I have mild osteoarthritis in both knees. The nurse that did the injections was brilliant as i was informed of everything that they were doing and treated me exactly as You would expect to be treated. Very pleased and I wouldn't hesitate to come back if or when I need this injection again.

Vaccinations. Very easy to arrange, on line. I booked an early appointment and treated before my appointment time, as I arrived early.

The nurse who saw me on the day was very helpful she had time to listen to me it's the first time I saw someone that that put herself out to not rush you I would like to have her every time I had my B12 very nice lady

Sadly, after consulting with two other medical clinicians, who agreed that I needed to be seen due to previous history and symptoms, I was told that there was nothing wrong, and I would have to wait 6 wks for a chest cray if it is a chest infection. Told me to come back if worse. I have sadly had to resort in self medicating with antibiotics as I couldn’t breathe and know my own body. I shouldn’t have had to resort to using someone else’s antibiotics but they could see how poorly I was. These have worked wonders and I am now improving. A terrible service, made to feel a fraud and a time waster! I stressed she should have looked at my history. -multiple PE lungs/ chest infection double pneumonia and pleurisy and given half an hour to live- I know when not to risk a chest infection. It’s sad nowadays that the staff, in this case a nurse doesn’t know the patients history. It could have got a lot worse for me!!! I hardly ever go to the doctors- that should also show I was worried. I never had a wheeze or a cough when I was really ill last time.

Car parking seems to be an issue, even the text reminder states leave plenty of time for parking. Priority should be given to patients or equalise the appointments with their other surgeries. I was seen more or less on time, and the podiatrist seemed to be a nice enough chap. The consulting room was very warm and had to ask for the window to be opened, even he admitted it was very warm in there.

I was very pleased to get treatment that I had requested 18 months ago, also very pleased to meet in person my named doctor. What a decent human! I was treated very well with many questions answered. Everything was attended too including forward appointments. It was good to feel that the system appears to be working so much better than it has done in the previous years. Good for staff and patients!

Worst doctors practice around Their rules are terrible and putting people's lives at risk, their so called e-consults are a joke, never get back to you when they state, and when they do they just say call the doctors 8am so wasting time, huge joke, they never get back to you, appointments are like winning the lottery, dont bother complaining they send me a copied and pasted reply stating they don't care, They are seriously putting people lives at risk, Other doctors around don’t behave in this manners or have these outrageous and ridiculous rules, When will they be made to do what they are paid to do which is care and look after people, Sadly the good staff that be work in there are unable to do a good job,

Appointment was on time and the lady doing the examination etc was very pleasant.When checking my blood test results on line which were all normal I was disconcerted to see my BP height and weight entered as part of my review as none were checked at my appointment

Thank you for your feedback. I am surprised that your BP, height and weight wasn't collected via the POD in the waiting room however, this could have been recently collected via another source that we have been able to use. I will share this with the team for learning.
