Once engaged overall very good but a few changes could be excellent. 1 reschedule staff to maintain appointment service over lunch time 2 when contacted to make appointment then why not issue date and time and if not suitable then contact reception to change instead of trying for 40 mins only to be told none available and ring again. 3 ensure that if a fasting blood test is booked that patient is informed of that as apossed to turning up and then sent away for another week

Took blood, no pain, no issues, got what was needed. Fantastic! However, within minutes I had black bruise which grew to about 6 cm round and is now purple and yellow!

Thank you for your feedback. Bruising is a common side effect to blood being taken, often there is no particular reason for this.

Was overdue a tetanus injection , and needed a chicken pox injection but the later was unable to be given due to medication i have been prescribed and will be arranged for when the course of medication is complete .

Phoned the surgery to enquire about shingles vaccination and was told no appointment needed just walk in. When I went to the surgery I didn’t have to wait long before being seen. The person who gave me the vaccination clearly explained how It would work and stressed that I would need the 2nd vaccination in 6 months.

As a patient at the Crookhorn Surgery for over 50 years I find it very inconvenient to have to travel to Cosham for a blood test. Why isn’t this service more freely available at Crookhorn Surgery ?

Thank you for your feedback. We do offer blood test appointments at all our sites, you will always be offered the next available appointment which may not be your preferred site, but you can ask if there are any available at Crookhorn.

I was asked to do my blood pressure. So i did but your public machine is not very good. Didn't give a good reading it was 170 over 96 and when i went to see the nurse it was 130 over 80 which was alot better.

Blood test for review of initial statin performance. Medical/Nurse helped me get a prescription from gp as i had no pills left.So very pleased that i could pick up tablets .
