I was a patient here for five years and always found it difficult to get an appointment. I frequently felt fobbed off by the receptionists, and rarely had my medical needs attended to appropriately. For example, I was refused an appointment for morning sickness. I frequently had to take my son to paeds A&E as was refused appointments with a doctor at this practice (e.g. for conjunctivitis or told to see a paramedic or misdiagnosed a case of post viral arthritis). I have recently changed GP and my experience is so much better!! It has really highlighted to me how poor the access to care was at cowley road medical practice.

Always impressed by my dealings with the surgery. Reception staff are generally outstanding - helpful, positive and they clearly care. Great to be able to contact them easily by phone and email. GPs and nurses are great too (as they are in other surgeries I’ve used) but the front line team are way better than I’ve experienced elsewhere.
