Cranleigh Medical Practice suggested Pharmacy First. It was a brilliant service. I was seen straight away and given excellent advice by a fully trained pharmacist.

I saw one of the nurses, as I was feeling unwell. She suspected sepsis and brought in one of the Gps and an ambulance was called. The combined care from the team was professional, empathetic and reassuring. They went above and beyond and I cannot praise Cranleigh Medical Centre highly enough.

I had some gynea issues over a few years but after quick investigations was told they could not find anything despite not being able to explain the symptoms. Recently started experienced spotting and went again. Same urine test and scan and eventually agreed to refer to consultant 5 months later. Two weeks ago I started to bleed between my periods and was feeling fainted with very heavy flow to the point I had to come back from work. Called the GP, it took an hour to reach someone despite being one in the waiting queue. Spoke to receptionist explaining my concerns and fact I was not feeling well and wanted to be reviewed as my specialist appointment was weeks away. This was followed by a text message 3 hours later asking explained again which I did. Had a text back saying nothing else the primary care could do for me and good luck for my appointment. How can one diagnosed on text message? It would have taken the same time to speak to me, telling me what to keep an eye on or reassure me. I had to self medicate with over the counter iron painkillers without knowing what was happening. I then attended my consultant appointment and overheard her saying to the nurse that I had been left in so much pain for 7 years while all along this was cause by a reaction to my coil and this should have been sorted years ago. The standard has gone down with covid as an excuse for patient to be triaged by non medical staff and assuming patient are available to wait / chase etc. Unacceptable

We were able to contact the surgery and get a response the same day. The response was excellent with the Doctor giving a very compassionate and detailed analysis of my situation. I left the surgery being reassured and confident they were going to follow up my future treatment. I would recommend this practice and feel Cranleigh is very lucky to have this hard working practice.

I received an immediate response to my concerns over a recent knee operation, and was extremely impressed with the thoroughness of the help and advice I was given. This included my doctor arranging for me to be seen the following morning by the orthopaedic team at The Royal Surrey for extensive tests to check for DVTs, infection and the knee operation itself.

After receiving my poor blood results My Dr was in touch with me quickly and he worked swiftly to get me seen at Guildford Hospital to get the treatment i need . Felt so good to be really listened to and also to have a GP work extra hard to get me the care I needed quickly . Really impressed A great medical practice too , helpful & kind nurses and secretarial staff going above and beyond .

I filled out the e-consult for a general concern, expressed that I struggled to take time of work during term time so happy to wait as needed for an appropriate appointment as this wasn’t an emergency. I was offered a Saturday appointment within 10 days of filling out the e-consult. I am very grateful for the care that I have recieved over the years!
