Review titled Not a Great Practice anymore

Tried to get an appt Thurs. 28/3/24 No appts available filled in an online form which gets read after 48hrs. Easter was @ the weekend and I needed antibiotics for a recurrent urine infection. Receptionist was rude,unsympathetic & inexperienced. I had to ring 111 they prescribed enuf tablets to get me over Easter. I'm 75 been with this surgery for many years. It was a family Dr's not any more. The surgery is always empty. Plenty of chairs but no room for patients. I feel at this age I have been left on the rubbish heap to rot. When you complain your told to ring the Practice Manager. The poor woman is always in a meeting or is this another lame excuse. She also must be overworked. Can't speak or see a Doctor, can't speak with the Practice Manager. Only left with the administrators on the front desk who are in my view untrained to deal with sick and needy patients. Where have our good Doctors gone?
