Unable to renew my monthly prescription(s) because I didn’t know the name of the manufacturer of the needles I use for my diabetes medication. As I only have one set of needles on my prescription list I do not understand why the surgery couldn’t find them and I had to return home without any prescription being issued. The ineptitude of this place is staggering; just when you think they can’t do anything worse they surprise you by doing something worse. And then they tell me I need a medication review again - the fourth one in four months!

Had trainee doctor today, she was lovely and had a lot of time for me, when her supervisor/trained doctor came in he seemed very patronising when asking me what I expected and what I thought was the problem (if I knew that I wouldn’t have been there.) After he left (he didn’t say goodbye) the trainee doctor could see I was very anxious. I was previously nervous about coming in today as I am only 16 and have never came into the GP on my own. She was very helpful in explaining the next steps and she was very comforting. I feel it’s necessary to add that due to the doctor being very patronising I did cry at the end. However the trainee really was lovely.
