Went through automated appointment line, over 2 weeks for a phone appointment, then went through reception which was about 2 days earlier. Explained that it’s a serious issue, but not an emergency to be going to the hospital, but still no change in date. Absolutely ridiculous, no wonder people misuse A&E when you have to wait over 2 weeks for an appointment, start booking in advance for just in case you fall sick.

Obstructive receptionist. She seemed disinterested in the wellbeing of others and antagonistic in her behaviour. I was regrettably five minutes late for my appointment for reasons beyond my control and couldn’t be seen. The receptionist refused to help me re book my cervical screening appointment. Not sure where this leaves me…? I rarely go to the GP and just trying to arrange a simple screening visit as part of the national screening program has been such a challenge! Upsetting when I had taken time off work for this appointment

Dear Patient, I am sorry to hear you were disappointed with the level of service the surgery provided. Our appointments have a specified duration to ensure that the procedure is carried out safely and recorded appropriately. Currently we are experiencing high levels of requests for smear tests. Our receptionist may not have been able to book an appointment due to appointment availability. However they should have offered to add you to a waiting list for the next available appointment. Could not fault the excellent service I received from dapdune staff and or Gp! Telephone appointment made,kept, great advice, able to upload photographic evidence of condition to get a prescription very easily. Other repeat prescriptions ordered at the same time and sent through to pharmacy close by. All medicines were available for collection 3 days later, extremely pleased with the service I received, totally recommend!

I have been a patient at this practice for over 40 years and have always had very good care. This last year I have had a number of contacts with the surgery and every one, from the understanding and caring reception staff to the professional expertise of the clinical staff I feel very fortunate. Very timely and thorough investigations, follow ups, explanations and referrals have minimised anxiety. To know this surgery has your back health wise is such a comfort and I am very grateful
