    During a recent bout of illness my dad required emergency & immediate care. I contacted the doctor & spoke with a receptionist who was exceptional. Her response was swift & reassuring & her kindness was beyond the call of duty. We were able to see an advanced nurse practitioner who was patient, kind & reassuring & who was able to ensure my dad received the correct care. My gratitude can’t be put into words.

    I visited the doctors with my 6 year old daughter. The doctor had a really friendly demeanour which put my daughter at ease straight away and her smile was extremely warm. The doctor took the time to explain everything to me and included my daughter in the conversations too, making sure she wasn’t left out. We really appreciated how kind and caring she was.

    After having a traumatic experience , during my late husbands illness and passing .I have been given loving care and attention from a Lady and Gentleman GP. The Lady GP even took the time to contact me on the Anniversary of my husbands death offering extra support.I am so grateful and feel honoured to have received such care . The Lady Practice Manager has been invaluable in every aspect , by arranging appointments and general well being chats which have helped me enormously. I cannot praise the practice enough. I am so grateful has my family are Thank you .

    Just want to let you know how great your staff are. Today I ran for an urgent appointment for my husband. It was 12.30 as he’d only just admitted how rough he was feeling. I spoke to a lady who was lovely & apologetic that they were no appointments available, however she explained that there could be some more released at 1 pm & she said she’d call me back if there was any availability. Promptly at 1.00pm she rang back with an appointment at Darwen @ 5:45. During both calls she was really very helpful & caring. I know many folk complain so I wanted to make a change & compliment staff.

    Hello Practice Manager I Just want to let you know how great your staff are. Today I ran for an urgent appointment for my husband.     Following major surgery, my partner had remained unwell with an infection. Despite several hospital trips, this wasn't identified until we attended the surgery for an appointment. The Advanced Nurse Practitioner was so knowledgeable and supportive. A GP was consulted as a matter of urgency due to concerns around sepsis and admission to hospital was arranged for treatment. Without the support and quick action of the ANP, the situation could have been so much worse and we are so grateful for the intervention. Subsequent contact with the surgery including clinicians and receptionists has been of the same high standard and we would like to thank the team for their wonderful care of us all as a family going through a very difficult time. You're all wonderful!

    Good Morning Deborah Thank you so much for taking the time to provide your Partners recent experience at the practice. Really wonderful to hear that you both felt our ANP was knowledgeable and supportive. As you mention a GP was consulted which is our normal process of having a GP on call throughout the core hours of Monday to Friday 08:00 am to 18:30. I am also really pleased that you both felt subsequent contact with other clinicians and receptionist has been to a high standard.     My son and I came to see the paramedic practitioner today and I want to share that his approach, friendliness, words of support and advice were a breath of fresh air. He was encouraging and understanding and is a wonderful people person. My son, who gets anxious in medical appointments and is autistic, was put at ease straight away, felt listened to and understood and after leaving commented on what a nice person he is and hopes he sees him again whenever he next has to come for an appointment. A huge thank you to the practitioner for taking the time to listen, being down to earth and human! I also want to say thank you for how easy it is to make appointments at your practice. I have friends who complain they can’t get appointments when needed at different practices and I’m so pleased to say that has never been an issue for me or my family and I always recommend your service.

    I had a fibromyalgia flare up and was in a lot of pain, i used the e-consult facility on the MyGP app to request advice, I was phoned back by a clinician within an hour for assessment and was invited to attend clinic for a face to face assessment later the same day. Always an outstanding service, I have never struggled to get an appointment and the app makes it extremely easy and quick, the staff are helpful and clinicians are all brilliant.
