Tried to get appointment. GP misdiagnosed over telephone via trainee receptionist. Discussed I was a nurse for 37 years needed an appointment for a medic to actually see. Prescribed antibiotics dor which thankfully the hospital confirmed to be thrombosis. Then the would not sort medication which was blood thinners. Again the hospital sorted out. Feel very let down especially when I rarely contact the Practice

When raising a query regarding HRT therapy and after explaining how I felt, the response was “well it’s up to you - just stop it if it’s not helping you”x There was no meaningingful discussion on how I was feeling so I have just stopped it.

Following my visit to Davenal House Surgery yesterday. I was seen by extremely competent Assistant Physician ( Nurse Practitioner). She was very competent in her assessment and examination. She was very compassionate and helpful. An absolute asset to Davenal House Surgery.

I recently had a Face to Face and telephone consultation at the surgery. Both consultations were excellent. I have worked in the NHS for 44 years prior to retirement and the standard of the consultations were outstanding. Both GPs consultations were on a par to a Hospital Consultants consultation.
