It is a good surgery and the majority of staff are very professional. I dislike the nationwide trend of instructing administration staff who answer the call to ask the reason for the call. Some will do this as sensitively as they are able and are almost apologetic in the request, because lets face it, it is a breach of privacy. However occasionally you are confronted with someone who's manner is aggressive and full of entitlement, and when you explain that you have given them as much information as you are willing, they persist in an argumentative tone. I had that experience a few months back and the person sounded very young, and when you are dealing with patients who are not feeling well, maybe mentally not in a good place, you need to make sure that those answering the phone do so sensitively and with respect!

Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry to read that this was your experience recently. Our receptionists are trained Care Navigators and will explore the reason for calling with all our patients, this is to ensure they are booked in with the right clinician, at the right time. I am sorry if this was done in an intrusive style, this is not the intended purpose of our approach. I am keen to investigate this for you. Have been with the practice for just over 1 year .Compared to my previous practice, the service provided has been nothing short of excellent. Very friendly and approachable staff .All very efficient

I’ve been seen twice at the practice and both times it has been very professional and uncomplicated. The staff at the front, along with the doctors and nurses are all friendly and helpful. Could not recommend the practice anymore - great job!

Visited to provide an urine sample because I suspected an infection. Was seen almost immediately by a clinician(I was lucky in that Thursday is his day at the surgery) A thorough and informative session ensued, an UTI was confirmed and an antibiotic was prescribed. Overall the service provided by the clinician, the reception team and the dispensary could not have been better.

No matter the problem there is always someone who cares, be it the reception team, dispensary staff or the GP’s. Advice given, referral made and no hesitation to resolve an issue. I couldn’t be happier with all staff members. Thank you!
