I called the practice as there was a shortage of one of my medications and my usual pharmacy (who are also excellent) had been unable to source it. The receptionist or care navigator I spoke to called me back, having spoken to the pharmacist at the surgery. As I understood it, they had called around to check the stock at other pharmacies to see if they could accept a script for a similar drug. This was above and beyond the call of duty, and I truly appreciated their kindness in doing so. They took the time to find a solution when GP surgeries are under a huge amount of pressure, and I wanted to leave them a heartfelt thank you!

I visited on 12th of July, called for ear infection was told to come straight away, saw a lovely paramedic who prescribed antibiotics and gave me all the advice needed. From call to consultation was 30 minutes. Amazing service. Were often too quick to leave a bad review but I feel derby road is brilliant, so credit where credit is due.

Absolutely disgusting service and terrible experience. You spend 45 minutes on the phone to get through to the receptionist who says to go on e consult between 6pm-7pm in the evening. Unable to help or give me an appointment. I go onto E consult and it’s closed at 6.35pm and informed to try tomorrow. Let’s hope I don’t have a stroke as I am unable to get my medication reviewed. No wonder A&E is overloaded with patients.

The staff listen carefully and then respond as is necessary with medication, referals and whatever else is necessary for the benefit of the patient.
