I had to have some really tricky stitches removed from my head. The practice nurse did it over 2sessions. She also stayed on after her shift on the 2nd occasion so she could finish the job. All the while being caring and reassuring. Thankyou.

I had my ears syringed as I had been suffering with wax buildup for quite some time and as someone with quite bad health anxiety I was pretty nervous. The nurse who did the procedure for me was very kind and made me feel at ease, as well as explaining how it would be afterwards and how to make sure my ears stayed clear and clean. She made sure I was fine as it was being done and afterwards as well.

I had an ECG with the Nurse. She made me feel very relaxed and she checked that I was comfortable through the whole procedure. Thank you!

Nurse extremely good helped me with my type 2 diabetes remission I lost nearly 4 stone in weight thanks to the nurse recommending me thank you verrymuch

Practice nurse is friendly, attentive and genuinely interested in patient. Seemed to take good holistic approach to patient's well-being.

Today I saw the nurse for a smear test she greeted me in a warm and welcoming manner which relaxes me and puts me at ease. Very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions.

I have been at this surgery for many years and my GP (who under policy I cannot name), has been fantastic throughout this time. Having visited my GP for a variety of reasons, I can honestly sat that he has always gone out of his way to help me. He has also signposted to the correct agencies when other specialist help or additional support is required. He has identified help that I wasn't aware I required and that has paid dividends for me. He explains stuff clearly and I feel very comfortable chatting with him. The NHS is under great strain at the moment and you often only hear bad news stories, but I have to say my experience has been overwhelmingly positive. Thank you.

Shocking behaviour from the receptionist at this surgery. Rude answering the phone, condescending. And was unhelpful just be sure she can be. Ended up leaving my problem and seeking advice elsewhere.

I recently had an issue which needed, what I believed, required immediate attention and given the current situation regarding the NHS and A&E response times I wasn't hopeful of a quick resolution. After contacting the surgery and with the help of their receptionist my fears were quickly resolved, I received immediate attention and my problems were addressed. Thank you Derwent Medical Centre!
