I’m in 2 minds about Henford Lodge. Some of the staff are helpful, most are not. Luckily for me the last receptionist I spoke to was helpful and questioned why I was asked to use e-consult when I should have had an emergency on the day appointment. E-consult is ok if your not working and only have limited time to actually log in and use the facility

I contacted my gp practice through e consult and was asked to make an appointment with the gp and given 3 separate available appointments within the week. After seeing the gp I needed a blood test and was given an appointment the following day. The whole procedure ran smoothly and is a vast improvement on previous visits to the gp.

Really improved now there are more doctors and appointments are available at Abbey Manor again. In my recent appointment I was given plenty of time to explain symptoms and discuss my concerns and options.

Impressed with the efficiency of getting a GP appointment. After filling an online consultation, I was contacted within 24 hours by the practice, offered an appointment within a week. The GP I saw was very thorough & I was booked in for bloods within a week & a follow up appointment within 2 months. In the past I’ve not had the best experience with this practice, they have clearly listened & improved.

The GP was empathetic and understanding of my issues. He talked me through the process and assured me that all tests would be to get to the bottom of my issues. He also referred me to the pain clinic. His time and understanding was very much appreciated

Easy to get appointment following call up. Professional and friendly nurse, clear explanation of what you are being screened for, how long results will take, outcome and repeat screening procedures.

I had an appointment with a more experienced GP yesterday. The experience was chalk and cheese from that I had with a younger GP two weeks ago. This time the GP listened and took the time to address all of the issues which will hopefully result in a holistic approach to my health issues. I came away feeling completely different to the way I felt two weeks ago - I felt I'd been listened to and not brushed off and told to go because my time was up.

Unfortunately contacting the surgery in the morning by telephone usual takes about 40mins so I booked this appointment by attending surgery. However once attending the appointment my nurse was friendly, professional and efficient. Very grateful for the service I received. It is frustrating the 8.30am telephone rush but once over this hurdle I have always received prompt care and attention. Thank you.
