Currently experiencing an infected wound where I need antibiotics. Phone engaged from 8:00am and no patch appointments by the time I log in at 8:03am. There are at least 5 doctors here working until 6:30 so each one could see 25 patients per day. What is going on with this practice? Always been the same

I have tried now for the last 3 days to make an appointment, the phone line is constantly busy and the online service shows no available requests at 8:01am which is only when the service is supposed to open!!

Hello, Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback, I am so sorry that your recent experience has not been a positive one. I acknowledge our phone lines are extremely busy and appreciate how frustrating this can be for our patients, but unfortunately as I am sure you are aware Primary Care is experiencing unprecedented demand and we cannot predict the amount of calls we will receive each day. Our staff are working to capacity and beyond each day to meet the needs of the population. Knowsley practices have also recently moved online platform from E-consultation to Patchs, and there have been some teething problems. I can assure you that the issues are resolved and that you should now be able to access the online platform from 8am each weekday morning. Thank you again for taking the time to leave your feedback, it is greatly appreciated as this helps us to understand any obstacles our patients are facing. This enables us to review our service and make improvements.
