Review titled Very Helpful Staff
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Mrs Julia McCarthy - Posted on 20 October 2024
I had to call surgery urgently last Friday and receptionist was exceptionally kind and helpful. She was reassuring and helpful and referred me to a GP who also dealt with my problem promptly and sent prescription to pharmacy which I collected on same day. I am forever grateful for their help and kindness. Thank you

Review titled Waiting all day for a phone call nothing!!
Rated 2 stars out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 21 October 2024
I have been waiting all day for a phone call from one of your GPs. After calling up reception twice to double check it was today, once at 2pm and once at 5pm, I was told both times it was going to be before 6:30. By 6:30 nothing not a word. I tried calling at 6:28 but got the automatic Dorridge surgery is now closed message.

Review titled Nothing is straightforward...
Rated 3 stars out of 5
by John B - Posted on 22 August 2024
NHS app should be useful for requesting items... except some items get fulfilled, others don't. And there's no effort to communicate that (because the patient doesn't matter). When I go to the Dorridge Surgery to ask why not, the receptionist approves the item that needed to be reviewed. If that's all it took, it should have been done without me having to go to the pharmacy to find only one item, then go to see the receptionist, then make another trip to the pharmacy in a few days.... This is far from an isolated example of how nothing is straightforward at Dorridge Surgery. On other occasions I have had similar operational inefficiencies/problems but lose interest before completing a review. Almost every interaction has the interests of the patient (customer) as lowest priority. And in the many years of being a patient here, I can say it is inexorably a downhill service because of that lack of interest in the customer. I feel like I am interrupting their business (which supposedly is there to serve us). But hey ho, what do the opinions of a patient matter.
