    I met my new GP for the first time last week, my past experiences at the practice have met be good so it was with some trepidation. I am a recovering head and neck cancer patient who has had a truly terrifying time and still not fully recovered. I found her to be empathetic, knowledgable all the things you would expect but, most importantly of all, when I was speaking to her she wasn't writing, tapping a keyboard or fiddling. She sat quietly and listened. She explained things to me and I was able to ask her questions. She told me what her plan was, when she would ring me, future blood test dates and what to do in between. She has done precisely what she said she would do, including telephoning tests results to me today. She said to me 'I will look after you' and I absouletly believe her. My treatment has not been good and tbh I had pretty much given up. I am hoping now that the problem has been identified and unfortunately it is serious, that we will be able to get it sorted out, although she tells come there's no quick fix, at least I now know and I am not going totally mad!!! I guess really, Its a great relief that I have at last I have a Dr, a point of contact, that will actually sit and listen to me. I am truly grateful for that it's a huge relief. I hope she is happy at the practice and continues provide this level of care.

    The lady doctor I saw was very helpful, professional and understanding. She listened to me and asked questions to get to the problem.

    I have spoken with a doctor on a number of occasions now, and she has taken action on all occasions to try and sort out the issues I currently have. I am very pleased with her assistance

    As always my registered Dr was attentive, helpful and full of warmth. Since her arrival, approximately 5 month ago my respect for her has grown on each visit. Getting her as my new Dr was the best thing in my 5 years at the surgery.

    My husband has prostate cancer the consultant prescribed a medication to be taken asap. We were told the surgery would receive the letter at the same time as my husband. Which was last Wednesday, so we rang to check they had received it, oh no Wednesday afternoon they were closed for staff training. Rang Thursday. Closed again for staff training. Friday rang again, told they hadn't received it, we read out the consultants request. Husband was told to take this letter to the surgery. When he arrived they said they had found It. They had marked it it urgent should be at our pharmacy later that day. This didn't happen, rang on Monday this hasn't been processed yet, hopefully will be done today or tomorrow. Is this acceptable I don't think so. Stress levels through the roof.

    This doctor surgery should be closed down it's scary how bad and poorly run it is, Spend over an hour on the phone to try get an appointment for a 20 month old baby and they wouldn't see him sorry all slots have gone try again tomorrow meanwhile I had to take my little one into hospital because he had scarlet fever I even went into the surgery to speak to someone at the front desk to show them the pictures before taking him to hospital 0 care, Dangerous doctors surgery I feel so sorry to anyone that gets out here in the catchment ! Hope to god this place gets closed down and they actually employ a decent team
