Review titled Terrible practice
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 17 March 2025
Really terrible practice The place is dirty, the staff is cold and unaccommodating. I had to make 3 different patches requests with increasing levels of severity to get an appointment after a week. The doctors are also cold and make you feel unwelcome. They don't feel very confident with their knowledge and offer minimal help, you need to ask 20 questions to get a yes/no answer, no extra information. I was given a cream that could potentially be quite strong. I asked if there was any potential side effect, the answer was "yes", I asked for more details I got no answer.

Review titled Unsafe and uncaring run down GP practice
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Eugenia Cezar - Posted on 14 October 2024
I went there for a full check up done with a healthcare assistant. It was a negative experience from the way I was talked to with no greeting, attitude and lack of medical knowledges. One person in the reception was good. The building looks unkept, full of overgrown vegetation, hard to walk down the buggy, disabled ramp with uneaven ground and litter everywhere. This kind reflects inside as there is no working toilet, the reception staff generally not trained or experienced as they change quite frequently. As a patient of this GP practice for over 10 years, I am now seriously considering moving to a different one as there are doubt of the medical care they provide.

Review titled Never ever pick up the phone
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Zarina Mahmood Mahmood - Posted on 17 September 2024
I have been trying to make an appointment for my elderly mother for over 5 days now and been in the queue every day for 2 hours only to eventually be cut off.. The shocking part is I have been into the practice you can hear the phones ringing constantly but no one will pick the phone up as they are too busy talking amongst themselves or having a laugh.

Review titled The Worst NHS Practice - need to be shut down
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 19 August 2024
I am incredibly disappointed with the service I received when calling this practice. On the 19th of August at 8 am, I was on the phone for over 45 minutes, and there were only 10 people ahead of me in the queue. For reference, my regular GP manages to handle over 30 people within the same amount of time, so this delay is completely unacceptable. To make matters worse, when I finally got through, I was rudely addressed by a receptionist who showed no care or empathy whatsoever. It's beyond frustrating that employees are not being checked for their ability to show basic courtesy before being hired. This receptionist is clearly not qualified for the job she is doing, and the lack of professionalism is shocking. I already have enough issues to deal with, and dealing with such poor service should not be one of them. This experience has left me seriously questioning the management and overall quality of care at this practice.

Review titled worst
Rated 1 star out of 5

This is by far the worst version of NHS service I've experienced. Firstly they use an appointment system that isn't human friendly. When you ask to see a Doctor, your told to see a nurse. If you ask when your next breast screening is due your told to contact the department yourself to book and just given a link. they say they will txt you an appointment booking ,then they don't. They don't keep up to date records of where your tests were carried out. Lastly they send you round in circles to book an appointment only to tell you, "sorry we don't have any appointments available try calling 111,or ask a pharmacist.

Review titled Awful surgery
Rated 1 star out of 5

When I phoned the surgery I had to wait 2 hours to make an appointment. When I finally spoke to someone they booked me an appointment, but when I turned up at the surgery they said there was no record of the appointment. Absolutely useless! I even have a record of the time on my phone. Do not waste your time with this surgery! I hope they get closed down!

Review titled Inadequate service.
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 15 February 2024
Impossible to get through on the phone and the online system reaches capacity quickly making them inaccessible. I don't feel safe with them for example, they sent through medications without the correct checks eg allergies or informing about side effects etc just did a prescription based on the the brief info I provided online . No phone call, no follow up. The reception staff are not knowledgeable of the procedures with different staff giving different answers and trying to fob you off. The manager is unreachable and always "busy". On their website, their CQC inspection report has rated them as Inadequate - and as a patient I can say they truly are Inadequate. Take a look at their inspection report and see for yourself. Something has to be done about the poor standards. The authorities must listen to patients and do something about this surgery

Review titled Retraining Of Receptionists
Rated 2 stars out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 23 November 2023
The receptionist was rude, uncaring and did not bother to listen to what I had to say! All she wanted to do was get rid of me! I had a severe allergic reaction but she told me to go to the prescriber of the oil, which caused the reaction! Then she told me to fill up a patchs form. I informed her that I tried to fill the form at 8.01 am but it was not open. After I insisted she said she would put me in the triage system. Then I received a text telling me to fill up the patchs form again which of course I completed (luckily it was open) and sent before her text! The surgery will not improve until they retrain all the reception staff!

Review titled Patchs = we don't care
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 18 September 2023
Request this via 'Patch' online on 23 Aug 2023 and no one has been in touch, again with the same request on 4th Sep 2023. Both to which no response as of today. Overall abismal service since 'patchs' introduced. rename it to 'we don't care'.

Review titled Poor practice
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 14 July 2023
I have called the practice several times and communicated through patchs about the completion of a health form. More than a month has passed and a consultation has not been organised and the health form has not been completed by a GP. The practice is unresponsive through patchs and I have not received a reply in 3 days. I am left in a situation where the health form may not be completed in time for my program, in which case, I would not be able to participate. The secretary has also been rude to me during phone calls for no apparent reason.
