Recently moved to the area I had heard bad things about Abridge Surgery so I reluctantly signed up as was really my only option. However I have only had good experiences, the doctors have been really thorough - I’ve been for my children and had full bloods, scans etc to rule illnesses out, they listen and have been very good with my child who has sensory issues so when checking ears, throat etc takes time to let the dr do it they don’t get annoyed and used some really good distraction methods which was helpful. The nurse has been great, very kind and good. Had a smear and was quick and painless. She saw my daughter and was really good with her with an injured hand.

I had booked couple of seasonal vaccination and it was done as per requested. Overall I have had good experience with staff and doctors

I will not go into detail as most will be bored, but due to aggressive and bullying behaviour from a Jobcentre I found myself suffering anxiety. I contacted my GP surgery and received advise and assistance far beyond what I expected . Just to add my great thanks to Abridge Surgery and their social prescribers team.

I can’t believe this surgery is still taking on more people it can’t look after the patients it’s got on the books now. Waiting to hear from the Doctor after this complaint, absolutely amazed you can never get an appointment anytime (can’t wait to move)

I’ve just returned from an appointment at the surgery and once again my treatment has been exemplary. Everyone at the practice; doctors, nurses and receptionists are always so kind and do their utmost to help, if they can. I feel that me and my family are very safe to be in their hands.

Had a deer bite my arm whilst rescuing him from fence. Called the surgery at 8.30 was seen by nurse, wounds cleaned and dressed left with prescription by lunch time. Fabulous service, thank you

Our family is new to the practice and we felt so welcomed and cared for from the fist moment. The ladies at the reception are very caring and extremely helpful. Both the doctors are very kind and knowledgeable. I know whenever I have a problem or a question they are there to help me and my family. Thank you! The nurse is also very very lovely and she’s got a brilliant and funny personality. All in all it’s an amazing practice!

I have been in the village for coming up to 20 years and I have always had an exceptional service from the GP practice, both with the GPs the reception staff and the nurse. I feel fortunate to be with Abridge surgery especially when I hear others stories regarding difficulties with getting appointments, and having awful experiences. I have always got an appointment, all the staff are warm and friendly and it’s a wonderful community practice. I have nothing but praise.
