by Daniel Palmer - Posted on 30 March 2023
First time going doctors in over 4 years Wow what a waste of time, I'm in alot of pain with my shoulder and the doctor didn't even look at it just told me I should go private or go sit up a and e. Told him I don't have the money to go private been paying my taxes for over 25 years and I'm here to see a doctor, In the end he book me in for physio in 3 weeks time let's see how that goes Don't even feel like a human, feel like something on bottom of his shoe 2023 what has the world come to....

Review titled Blood pressure readings
Rated 2 stars out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 11 February 2023
I received a text from Parkview m Medical centre, asking me to take my blood pressure at home and told to do it 3 x times and text the lowest reading to them. Firstly why only the lowest?? Is this to reach the GP target requirements in order for the surgery to receive full payment from the nhs because if you put in a higher result you may have the reading will not be deemed as being under the required range for the surgery to reach their targets and therefore not get full payment from the nhs This isn't right , what if my blood pressure comes up high??? In the text all it says is keep taking your medication! Seems they are not interested if it's high and giving further advice, therefore this puts patients at risk of strokes and heart attacks , they are also presuming that patients have a home blood pressure monitor or that they can afford to buy one ! It's a disgusting tickbox exercise, motivated by money with no care for the patients health at all. The CCG should be looking into this and I intend to write to them.. If your Blood pressure is high they should be dealing with this and managing it, seems very dishonest to me. They have a duty of care to all their patients and I'm very concerned that the surgery are sending out these texts to patients. Surely if you have high blood pressure readings they should be recording these in your medical records for reference as to what treatment, medication doses etc should be given. This is a loop hole asking for the lowest in order to get paid.

Review titled Unprofessional GP
Rated 1 star out of 5

I was advised to carry out a non fasting blood test and I collected the form from the Surgery. It clearly stated ' non fasting' confirming what stated by the GP on the phone. I went for the blood test after lunch and the nurse told me it was a fasting lipids test and that the result could be altered if I had food. I have to repeat the test. Very unprofessional GP

Review titled Impossible to get any appointment
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 09 January 2023
This is the worst GP I have ever registered. This is absolutely impossible to get any appointment for any of our family member. We are 4 in our family. In last 6 months we couldn't get any appointment. When ever we call they do not receive the phone call. My 3 years old daughter is sick for last 4 weeks and she needs to be seen by a doctor as her cough is getting worse. This is not an emergency that we can take her to hospital emergency. She needs to be examined by the GP but this GP completely ignoring the duty of care and the responsibility they must show to their patients.
