    I've been suffering with chest pain, which I believe was due to wrongly prescribed medication. It's nearly impossible to get through so I completed econsult form. I missed a callback and tried phoning back and gave up after 40 mins. Managed to get through today and was told you missed your chance of an appointment so if still suffering complete another econsult form. I've stopped taking the medication so hope that improves things. What a chaotic system. Why can't they just email or text? Unfortunately we don't have any real choices in choosing a practice.

As you state, our admin team did try to call you on 4.7.24 in response to your e-consult and did leave a message for you to call back. We have since contacted you again to make an appointment for you to be seen by one of the clinicians at the Practice. Please accept our apologies for the frustration caused.     Was given a prescription for the wrong medication. The surgery operates like it’s the 90s. They have too many patients to cope with and the technology they use to manage the service does not support their needs, meaning the patients suffer from the inefficiency and lack of awareness of the admin staff and the inability to actually be seen by a doctor on time. It’s practically a lottery system to get an appointment and that’s if you call between 8 and 10. Outside of those hours they have no desire to help you address your concerns either on the phone or on econsult. How can you operate a surgery between the hours of 8 and 10 am only?! I work too so a lot of the time I don’t have time to call between those hours or fill in a econsult. Awful customer service and management.

    I have diverticulitis & have to take Tramadol for the pain, which I only take when I need them so I only ask for them once a year, this has been the same for the last 6 years normally a dr just calls me back the day I ask for them, and after a conversation gives me a prescription. This time I received a message asking me to call the surgery, I spoke to the receptionist she said the doctor will not ring me until the 29th of April and that there is no appointments unless I ring at 8am , why do I need to book an appointment? when it can be done by a simple call like it always has been, why waste appointments and the doctors time & have to wait till the 29th April for a dr to call,i have the same problem when I need my antibiotics the receptionist is always awkward and not helpful, yet the doctors always say they don’t see the problem and that I should always have a back up pack of my antibiotics incase I have a flare up

    Can never get a appointment took me months to get an appointment for suspected skin cancer and now I’ve had a biopsy they can’t give me an appointment in either of there practices to remove my stitches in 7 days so I have to go to minor injuries the practice is a complete joke

    Great Doctors and great service. Sometimes it’s a little bit difficult to get an appointment but they’re very good. The doctors are great I have an 83-year-old mother who needs to see Doctors sometimes at home and they are very accommodating. Great Surgery.

    After a bang to the head I was not feeling right headache confusion and nausea a few days after.Tried to get an appointment but told to call the next day or call 111. Called 111 and they said they would contact the surgery and inform them to give me an appointment in 2 hours and to call them back asap. Tried for 1 hour and 50 minutes but no answer just on hold. Went into the surgery after work and informed them that 111 said I needed to see a doctor but could not get through The receptionist called through to the doctor and I was informed the doctor would not see me but to go to A and E as could be delayed concussion. Went home and called 111 again they said the doctor should have seen me and my symptoms did not warrant a visit to A and E theygot their clinical team to call me. Wa so disgusted the way I was just fobbed off by the surgery. This is the second time I have been told to go to A and E rather than see a doctor which is not fair on A and E.

    Dear Patient We are sorry that you are unhappy with the service received from the Practice. We note that you received a bang to your head and experienced headache, confusion and nausea a few days later. These symptoms are all associated with concussion and require immediate investigation and tests which can only be carried out in a hospital setting. We are aware that 111 advised that you should be seen within two hours and this indicates an emergency scenario. The Practice is not an emergency service, hence the advice given to you to attend accident and emergency was correct. Going forward, we do hope you are feeling better and your symptoms have improved.     Had an ultrasound scan last week at your Vange surgery. Found the whole experience easy and pleasant. Staff as usual very friendly and helpful. Very impressed getting the results the following day. Would highly recommend this experience. Always when talking to friends and acquaintances comment how lucky we are to have such a great surgery.
