    I was recently visiting Dr Shantirs Practice and I was surprised with the professional service from the Receptionist and the Nurse .They were very friendly , patient with me, caring and highly involved what they are doing .It is a pity that this survey doesn’t allow me to state their names. Thank you girls , you are brilliant! I wish all of the staff are like you!

    After my previous gp retired I struggled to find another place like them and I believe I have now found a great practice. The doctors and nurses that have been involved in mine and my children’s care on various occasions have been phenomenal, each time we have been seen too with compassion and kindness. I went in this Tuesday after having difficulty breathing and was checked and referred to a&e. The doctor wrote a thorough report and made sure all issues were covered. He recommended that I get a nebuliser and prescribed me some medication to help with the problem. Even though there are reviews I have seen that are one star and complaining about reception or the wait to see the gp, it works both ways, you need to have patience and understand the level of pressure the NHS is under, as a person with a chronic illness I too have had to wait but once I have been attending to, the care and support has always been brilliant. Thank you for your services, stay blessed.

    Getting an appointment is the most difficult thing ever, you wait over an hour for anyone to pick up the phone, I go into the GP the receptionist are literally ignoring calls and doing nothing. I call 8am in the morning and I am first in queue I still wait 45minutes. Staff pick and chose who to give an appointment to. Extremely rude, they end the phone on your face. The manager is the most useless and rude person ever.

    It was very frustrating getting an appointment through this practice! We called in the morning to book an appointment for our 1 year old baby who's been having fever for the last 3 days, and the receptionist told us to call back at 2:00pm. We called back as she asked, only to be told that the appointments have been fully booked already for the rest of the afternoon and we have to call the following morning to book an appointment the next day. The reception also told us that we have in fact called at 2:25pm and not 2:00pm that's why the appointments ran out. On this basis, I called back again thinking it's reasonable to ask for an appointment for the next day, only to be told no several times despite explaining our concern and that we do have to ring again the following morning. There's no point asking 'what the problem is' when they answer the call as it doesn't feel like they're triaging the concerns and booking the appointment as per urgency, but rather on a first come first serve basis. The receptionist said that they are triaging the calls but this doesn't feel like the case when she said that there might be other sick babies also needing an appointment so I do need to call back.
