I was requested by the practice to arrange an appointment to discuss my blood pressure. The text they sent me would not permit a reply, I was not able to arrange an appointment by phone, by visiting the website or by e-mail, for which I have had no response. I therefor visited the practice last Tuesday & spoke to the receptionist who advised me that the GP only worked two days a week & that she would arrange a telephone appointment for me & advise me of the date by phone. That was now a week ago & I have heard nothing ! I am planning to visit again tomorrow to try again. Please do not respond saying how busy or short staffed you have been. Poor admin. Unworkable procedures & bad management is to blame & needs to be rectified.

Dear Mr Rayment I am sorry to hear of your experience ,but i can see that your were sent a text on the 29.5.2023 to book an appointment and you were seen F2F on the 6.6.2023? (within the week)if that is not the case please can you contact the surgery and ask to speak to the practice manager and we will see what we can offer. It is a very stressful period for all of us but we try and do what we can.

This GP has to close down. Very bad , rude staff, extremely difficult to get an appointment not for my health but for a fit note as I've fractured(broken) my ankle. I don't recommend it at all. Please CQC close it down.

I have been with this surgery since I was born 1993. I could count on one hand how many times I’ve visited or phoned this practise as I refuse to waste NHS time & will only try to see a doctor when absolutely needed. However, my 8 year old son has been incredibly unwell (not to the point of A&E) but has a terrible painful cough & sickness at times for over a month now. We have had 2 hospital visits through 111 in which we’ve had anti biotics & an inhaler which haven’t worked. The 111 doctor (both times) has told us to contact our GP to get a referral for more test. We call every single morning at 8am & always keep trying a few minutes before, you cannot get through. It immediately says all appointments have gone & to try at 8am tomorrow. 111 always results in some sort of prescription that doesn’t work & told to call the GP if it doesn’t clear up after a week. We are also signed up to Bupa family care, but they won’t cover it. I’ve never felt so let down considering I’ve never abused a single minute of NHS time.

Cannot book an appointment - have to call 8am exactly and most of the time still don’t get through. When you get through, there are no appointments for weeks, even if elderly and with existing conditions.

The staff and doctors are so lovely - they are facing a very challenging time but they have always looked after us - we should give them more credit then we do

Absoutley awlful, I tried calling for an on the day appointment, dead on 8, to receive the message that all were already gone, regestered online to try and make an online appointment, none avaliable, i'm not quite sure what i'm meant to do, I really need to see the doctor. About a year ago I made an appointment for a phone consultation, never received that call either. Really disspointed.

My husband has been trying to book a routine appointment for weeks. I have tried to book an appointment at 8am. None available. They can’t possibly all hv been booked in 30 seconds. You can’t leave a message. NHs111 refer you back to your gp. No wonder A&E are so overwhelmed

unable to book appointment online, unable to book appointment by phone, receptionist are the ones that decide if the matter is urgent or not, receptionist are rude.

The reception staff are trying their best to fulfill every patient request but they cannot give you what is not available.
