Review titled Staff member behaviour
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Kelly Gowland - Posted on 27 March 2025
I went for a nurse appointment for a review on my breathing and tightness in my chest . I saw this nurse . My mum had accompanied me to the appointment, as she is asthmatic and we believe I have that . We got into the appointment, and all the women did was test me on this Feto machine for my breathing . The whole way through she treated me like a child , kept calling my mum , mummy and was like would mummy let you do that . Also said to look after a cap for the machine by my mummy as I wouldn’t be sensible enough to do that . It was awful , she was talking to me like a child and not an adult , I’m 22 and this behaviour from your staff is disgraceful. Then she went on to tell me to keep using the inhaler that I have been given by the hospital , which I have been told that it is dangerous to keep on using . Also I noticed as well when I mentioned that I had been in hospital the week before for this condition she had no clue about this , which is disgusting as she hadn’t read my notes before coming into the appointment. My whole experience was awful. It has made me lose faith in this practice as all I want is to get this problem solved . And this practice so far keeps pushing me away for appointments when I call early and do the right things to get seen . They also never help me when I go to appointments to help resolve theses problems . For a practice to call me up to book a appointment and then when I do you have none available that really isn’t acceptable. This is not how a practice should treat their patients . Please if you can help me have a better experience .

Review titled Bad practice

Took 3 months to update my medical records after switching. Changed my 10 year+ prescription without notice. Explained to practice manager I cannot attend practice without the medication as I need it to do any exercise, Instead of providing a solution they said that they are "not going to waste their time on me". Still cannot get medication after 3 months at this practice.

Can never get an appointment with my Dr as you have to call at 8am. I physically cannot do this as i am driving on the M4 then. Eventually saw a different Dr. He was 10 minutes late seeing me, no apology not even a good morning. If i was 10 minutes late i know the receptionist wouldn't let me see a Dr. Why do they think their time is more important than anyone elses?

I phoned this morning for an appointment which was booked to visit within 30mins, the receptionist was kind and considerate and helpful, the staff go out of their way to help always. My doctor was also kind and took time to speak to me, I’m booked for blood tests tomorrow evening, fantastic service and amazing practice, thanks everyone. How reassuring to have a great doctors surgery

Review titled Terrible practice

Staff are incompetent and lazy. Transferred to this practice in December 2024 and I still cannot order a prescription I was ordering monthly for 10 years before registering at this practice. Currently on the phone to try and fix it, I've waited 30 minutes and have been "2nd" in the call queue the whole time? this practice do not want to help and do nothing but waste your time. Do not go to reception with a problem because they will just deny that it is their responsibility and will tell you to do something irrelevant.
