I Came to the surgery on 06 January seen a female GP about cough and cold received some antibiotics for 5 days she took my blood pressure which was higher than it should be at that time. I then received a phone call from a doctor? on Friday 10January about my blood pressure being high. He then said he was going to prescribe some additional blood pressure tablets on top of my Ramipril which I take now with my other medications.I told him I was not happy with additional tablets.He then offered me an appointment to come in to the surgery on Monday 13January to check my blood pressure again. I went in to his room when I was called. I first asked him if I could have a repeat prescription for my cough and cold. He said no as he was not a GP and could not prescribe the repeat prescription. He was quite rude and abrupt when I asked for the repeat prescription. What I could not understand apart from his attitude was he was prepared to prescribe more tablets for blood pressure but he is a pharmacist not a GP. In the end he was not prepared to do the blood pressure test. I found all this very upsetting as cannot get around or get a bus down to the surgery because of my blackouts and dizzy spells and I got someone to bring me down and wait for me.All this to leave the surgery very upset with nothing done. What is going on?.

Filled in triage request, within an hour i was called & offered a same day appointment. From entering the surgery the reception staff was friendly & checked me in with ease (check in machine out of order) no queue, advised what room no i would be in & advised which waiting area to go to. Seen on time by a lovely Dr listened very carefully to me & addressed my concerns, i would defintley request to see him going forward. I left the practice feeling that i mattered & would highly recomend Eden Court. There gas been a few new faces recently & may i say how friendly & helpful they are.

I have to say I have been very impressed with the efficiency of the doctors. My only critisism is the difficulty in getting an appointment with a nurse. I needed an appointment to remove clips following a knee replacement and it was imperative to be exactly 2 weeks after surgery. However, I was told that there were no appointments available. Fortunately, the receptionist, put a note through to the nurse and managed to get an appointment sorted. She then followed it up with a phone call to confirm the appointment. It is a shame that the receptionists have to take on board patients frustration when there hands are tied due to an inadequate amount of nurse appointments. So, thanks are sent to the receptionist who dealt with this and the efficiency of the doctors but please sort out the availability of nurse appointments.

Eden court is a great practice, focuses on providing excellent patient care and service. The practice monitors my diabetes excellently with the senior partners (R E who is just excellent) expertise and input. The diabetic nurse input is also valued. The Health Care Assistance who took my mothers bloods was just excellent. She was friendly, approachable, very efficient in her work and ultimately professional. She explained everything to my mohter and I and we were very impressed and grateful for her brilling care. This practice goes that extra yard for their patients and despite the pressures on the NHS and primary care they continue to offer and excellent experience to their patients. Thank you all so so much for all you do!!

My son has a infected stye in his eye and has gone blurred and Eden court will not see him I have rang the opticians and couldn’t get any help so rang back to the doctors and still saying they won’t see him as it is minor ! So when my son goes blind they might see him

Your Airmid appointment booking app is completely and utterly useless. Please review. Similarly so is attempting to book appointments on System online.

I have been to this practice a few times over the past month with a recurring problem. The doctor I saw listened, and unlike previous experiences, followed up on my problem and I have just had a message with the suggestions for my next episode. I feel positive and very grateful.

I have read some of the negative reviews and am totally baffled, my family and I have experienced nothing but 100% total satisfaction with all aspects of Eden Court. Today I sent a request via email to the surgery requesting an appointment for the flu jab within 30 minutes I had a reply with a date and time. I would really recommend people to use either Systemline or the Eden Court Webb site to request appointments, order medication, ask for a phone call etc etc these systems really work. In my opinion Eden Court are the best surgery in Birmingham by far.
