    I’ve tried to get an appointment for 3 days ringing at 8 and was put in a queue of 30 , then I was called after 10 and told no appointments, no possibility to make an econsult, my son got severe strep tonsillitis and we didn’t get any help , today got croup and had to go to the surgery to get an appointment but was tol the Gp rules are not to give any appointments and with very much difficulty I managed to obtain an telephone consultation that I still don’t know if this will happen, I was told from manager that because I am a GP myself I can’t be given special treatment but I am not given the minimal care and understanding, staff are very rude and lack empathy

    No econsult available, was on the call back for over 2 hours, I rang them back to be greeted by rude receptionist saying there is nothing available ring 111, when I tried to explain that Iv been on the call list cut me of and said nothing I can do ring 111 actually made me cry.

    Constantly on hold whenever I call which leads to more than an hours wait just to join the queue. All appointments have then been booked by then. Last attempt took more than 30 separate calls as I was constantly disconnected. Doesn’t offer a ‘walk-in and wait’ option unlike other GPs. Reception staff unhelpful based on my experience. Doctors and Practice nurses however are very helpful.

    I'm sorry about your experiences trying to book an appointment. At the time of leaving your review, our new phone system would have been operational which should have negated the need for multiple call backs and you should not have been disconnected. Please contact the surgery directly and we would be happy to look into this further.

    They definitely need to sort the appointment problem also e consult should be on a lot longer than it is. I have been with this doctors a long time 33 years to be precise I only like to see a select few of doctors as it makes me more comfortable as this hasn’t been an issue. Doctors are great 😊 they know me and we have a great rapport I feel comfortable with them. I suffer with PTSD and the doctors are so helpful when I am in distress. Thank you

    Thank you for your kind words. We have forwarded on your comments to the practice team. In relation to the appointment issues, we have recently implemented a new access protocol to improve appointment availability. We hope that you will see improvements in this immediately.

    Script says need bloods doing. Reception can't find anything relating. Appointments ring 0830 explained I can't because in work.and we aren't aloud phones in work. Told nothing they can do as Drs say it has to be done this way. So because I work I get penalised by not having access to appointments. Shocking practice although receptionist have improved a bit. Since the older ones have left.

    I am sorry to hear about your experiences at the surgery. We have recently implemented a new access policy for appointment requests, which along with our new telephone system, will hopefully avoid any such occurrences in future.
