Our family started to register for Adelaide Street Surgery in July and felt that the British NHS medical system saw some hope.

Experiences have always been good or really good. The reception staff have always been kind to me and the doctors always take their time to go through my problems

Always made to feel comfortable Reception alway covered good telephone manner when you call spoken to kindly with good advice your appointment is always kept to a good time doctors give good advice and guidance along with answers to your questions with good health tips too so doctors and nurses are often a professional skills and caring nature

I was called in to have a blood test due to low sodium in the blood. I arrived at the surgery, told to go upstairs and waited to be called by the nurse. The nurse explained why I had been called in for the test. The blood was taken and now I await the outcome.

Went for a blood test, got called on time, nurse was nice, job done, all good. I didn't feel very good as I had to wait a while for an appointment. It is good to be able to have a blood test locally at the GP and not go through the Homerton rigmarole. Just a shame they're not more readily available.

I went in to have my blood test done: the nurse was very friendly, patient and took the time to check previous test results, reassuring me the values were all good. She also suggested to be in touch with the doctor to follow up. I was very pleased with her assistance.

Completed Engage consult, received a call same day and was offered apt for afternoon, was then able to see the Doctor and was happy with the consultation and was also able to collect medication straight after apt. This particular experience was flawless but is not always the case .

I had an ear infection. Used the website to make an appointment and had to wait a week to be seen. When I was seen, it was fast, personal, and covered everything I needed. I got my medication the same day, and I can already feel it working. Jan the nurse is very kind, and has a wonderful bedside manner.

I had an extended appointment with my GP to discuss my mental health including depression and anxiety. I felt very listened to, understood and supported. His advice was very clear, direct, simple and easy to understand. I felt very supported. I also had an appointment as my hearing hasn't been very good and he explained how the ear works in a simple way, and referred me for a hearing test. Very positive experiences.
