  1. Review titled Cancelling appoinments

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 05 February 2025

When i book appointment i need to take day off from work. My appointment was booked for 2 weeks than a day before I recieved a message that its cancelled. I need to have my injections in a certain times. I do work as well. It complicates everything! If member of staff is sick you should have replacment. Right now i would need to go through whole procedure again which means i need 2/3 appointments not 1!!!! I am fuming and will be taking this matter further. You Think whole country sits on benefits at home and wait for you to do them a favour with available appointment, disgusting. You waste people time and money caus who one gonna pay me when i take extra day of from work !

  2. Review titled Financial Loss

    by B.Chopra - Posted on 29 November 2024

Booked a Medical for my Lorry License renewal on 15/11/2024. Was given a date today 29/11/2024 at a cost of £60. Had a day off work to attend appointment. When arrived told by the GP that he actually does not do the Medical as he is a Locum. Also that I would have to see an optician separately. I have had 3 previously with other doctors and never had a problem like this. The doctor said he can do it privately but not at this surgery. Then he said he'll do it and went to reception. Cameron back and said the reception will book me an alternative appointment. Suffered a loss of £200 in wages and my license expires on 04/12/2024. A new appointment is booked for 03/12/2024. I will most probably lose a week or two's wages until my license comes back granted. Not good the practice should run things better, completely incompetent in this day and age. Triage is a total failure today.

  3. Review titled Have been fobbed off by the GP.

Rated 1 star out of 5

by JOY - Posted on 06 March 2023

I called at about 11am, explained that I am anaemic, type 2 diabetic, have fibroid issues and new cross hospital has stated that the GP have to refer me again as I had a failed embolisation procedure last year. I called a week ago to say this and was told the GP receptionist that they would pass my message on to the GP and that they would refer me. Have called today and was told there is no referral on my record to the hospital. Have been told to call in the morning the next day at 8am where I would obviously be 30 in the queue or they hang up when they pick up. They said their bookings for the whole month was no longer available to see a doctor not even for a telephone consultation. I believe I have been fobbed off and have not been taken seriously. Knowing a week ago I had UTI and was given antibiotics. Find it extremely unacceptable that they are unable to book an appointment to see a doctor face to face even for days in advance or telephone consultation except you call at 8am, when they are open till 5pm.
